It's certainly a popular pantomime - people spend , quite literally , hours every day commenting on it . Every day . 365 days a year .

On reflection , you may be right about SOMO . If the IMF/World bank etc wish to have a "unified" Iraq then so be it . Those of us here who are actually invested (don't laugh) just want the oil audited and accounted for . I'm sure OPEC want the same .

This makes GKP worth £5 billion or 22p per share.

GKP's Reserves, even on the "layers of conservatism" CPR numbers, are barely being affected by production levels. It is the colossal size of Shaikan, together with GKP's 58% stake in it, which put GKP into a pretty unique position. People ask why GKP hasn't been sold...well, the same could also be asked of Genel.
