Who ever since the CPR has been published have been suppressing all and any talks about the assets on the GKP bulletin boards, herding us by hook or by crook to concentrate on the scapegoats of their choosing.

The oil might as well have been on the moon from day one. It was very easy to spot the humungous red flags, starting with the 9p placing. This has NEVER been about the barrels, sea of oil, columns the height of the Shard or any other technobabble. This has never been a sustainable business, it has only survived this far on dilution, using shareholders money and the assets as collateral, it could only go one way, down....now did I say all this years ago? If at sometime you didn't reassess your investment and instead followed blindly down the same road it beggars belief. And now some chastise people that did just that to either take their profit or cut their losses, I don't think those people are the bitter ones, just curious onlookers of this train wreck.

I'd say two things, nest:

First is to avoid confusing the amount of oil with GKP. GKP is simply a vehicle, a corporate entity, whose asset is a contract. The oil volume can't be changed but the contract can be messed with.

Second, FWIW, I suspect quite a few (not necessarily you) look at their shareholding like a bet on the 3:30 at Newmarket. You've staked ten quid and will await the outcome. A share punt is the sum of many individual pounds that can be reduced or increased depending on how your horse is running during the race. I first reduced Spring 2012, for several reasons, including Gokana. The art of the possible, not the pipedream. I should have reduced a lot more.

As I recall Lard they didn't sell a lot so I considered them still in , I admit it I am slow to learn this game .My perspective is Shaikan is massive Peak Oil has gone how can this fail to give a good return ? I now see that LAwyers ,Hedge funds , bent officals and Company employees and associates , terrorism incl the Saudi's can derail just about anything even a sea of oil.
