I would rather be reading that exports have definitely started rather than the "expected to resume" carrot dangle that is what we have had for what seems like forever.
I hope it does happen I've been here a long time.(I know my profile says I joined in 2023) I first invested here in 2009, getting a bit weary now, my average is 2.15 now after being wiped out in the restructure and then having good few divi's reinvested.
My fingers and toes are crossed for next week and wish everyone especially long termers the best. |
They'd sell because it's possible that the Greater Shaikan could contain 66bnbo. It will cost billions in capex to drain that within a lifetime.. Now, if this were a stable region you might take a punt but this is Eyeraq were talking about. Better to sell up and retire, leave some in the ground for the next bloke. |

Totally agree nest. Fair value for Shaikan, even with a huge discount, is still at the very least £70+ per share this year. |
If you use the Chinese studies FP of 3.6 % it's about 55 blls per share . That is ignoring a lot of the field. Shaikan is so big you cant forecast what might happen. Gkp may survive as a sleeping partner with royalty % . I surmise this as HNW Kurds want fair value for future generations thier heirs, how do you get that when it will be a long time till Shaikan us fully appraised. |
