Through mountains high and valleys deep, A silent giant lay in sleep, The Iraq-Turkey oil pipeline, Now stirs with life, a sign benign.
Once stilled by strife and legal fight, It now awakens to the light, The gates of black gold, once sealed tight, Open to the world's delight.
From Kirkuk's fields to Ceyhan's shore, The oil begins to flow once more, A river of crude, a liquid stream, Fueling dreams and economic schemes.
The markets stir, anticipation grows, As oil, like lifeblood, freely flows, A dance of supply on global stages, Where nations write their economic pages.
Beneath the sun, through earth's embrace, The pipeline weaves its ancient trace, A vein of wealth, a path of trade, Where fortunes shift and deals are made.
No longer bound by dispute's chain, The oil seeks the world again, A symbol of resolve and peace, A new chapter, a sweet release.
So let this black tide surge and swell, Of progress, peace, and commerce tell, For in this flow, a hope we find, Of unity for humankind. |

I think the market is wary. There have been so many times when things looked to be agreed - only for the players to go off and drink tea and munch biscuits, wanting a bit more for themselves.
It certainly looks like this is about to end. If so, the price is a fraction of what it will be in six months time. Fingers crossed. Like many other, I have been burnt along the way. A small holding only. Plenty time to buy more, if the export pipeline gets flowing. |
