If this gets over the line then happy days . If not, share price will be on sale. This gets resolved one way or the other. |
Maybe some substance in the boycott story, maybe he's trying to put people off attending by declaring it a wash, maybe he's blowing hot air, find out tomorrow I guess. |
Spanner in the works from @john78846295 |
Hopefully the vote is positive but if it isn't then the KRG should shift their attention to the IOCs and Turkey with the intention of finalising a deal by September which might end up being their only realistic option. This would sink BPs Kirkuk plans if they can't negotiate a deal with the KRG and Turkey. |
Deramper alert. |
There we go. John now posting about another boycott tomorrow. Fines don't mean anything in Iraq and why KRG were stupid to stop the ITP so hastily. |

The Shia bloc are hard core Kurd/sunni haters. Can't see them doing anything to help them, unless they've been threatened with a financial penalty/withdrawal of foreign aid payments. If Trump's team have got involved then it will pass. |
All looking promising. Hopefully no last minute amendments to derail the vote. I give it a 90 percent chance of success for tomorrow. Good luck all LTHs |

"Asharq Al-Awsat received a copy of a study, completed by the ruling Coordination Framework alliance, that showed that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani will emerge with a powerful coalition that makes up a third of Shiite seats in parliament."
Important stuff, al-Ameri, al-Maliki and other Iranian leaning factions have been trying to nobble Sudani and get rid of him because he's popular with the electorate and is more interested in creating jobs building infrastructure building ties with the west and Iraq's neighbours than he is in trying to stuff the Kurds and make war with Israel.
They want jobs peace and food on the table, they can't eat bombs and bullets.
He's trying to drag Iraq away from Iran and the public and increasing numbers of Shia can see that Iran is never going to be anything other than the loser.
Good. |
Sorry Kevs article mentions Shiite block not central and southern. |
Nice one CG. Was wondering how many seats they hold when Kev posted the article yesterday.

Tasmin Alliance (9 seats) voting favour and 'that there is a trend among the majority of political forces to pass the amendment of the federal budget'.
"Objections by the representatives of the Central and Southern Front, which includes more than ten representatives and a number of other members of the Council, will not have a significant impact on the passage of the amendment". |
Genel was up a day before dropping 20% on arbitration loss. I wouldn't read anything in the Genel's movement, tbh |
Am i right in thinking that we have now recovered the pre pipe closure price and in the meanwhile have enjoyed dividends etc so bring on tomorrow. It will be interesting to say the least but we need APIKUR to ensure a healthy bottom line from a new arrangement. Patience so far has been rewarded but we still need backpay and damages. |
Genel were down from about 2 o'clock so no impact.UT took them down at the end. |
Deramper alert. |
These incompetent clowns have lost all our confidence over the last 2 years. More shenanigans tomorrow is very probable, with more tea and biscuits only. Only a threat of fines and withdrawal of US foreign aid payments will focus their small minds. Genel closed down yesterday - I fully expect another postponement. |
