Is it 100% certain that resumption of oil exports through the pipeline can start in September without the ICG consent? |

Iraqi govt backtracking on changes to amendment to the budget. Vote most likely in coming days!
Iraqi Gov hopes House of Representatives will expedite approval of amendment in accordance with text approved by Council of Ministers |
TAKEOVER ANNOUNCEMENT IMMINENT |
CEO stay bonus will need an RNS shortly?..Around 600,000 shares..Sale RNS incoming?. |
Sadly I'm leaning with Habshan, hope I'm wrong but the messages coming out seem to be a complete denial of changing anything while at the same time asking for all the KRG's money. Guess clarification will come soon.
But then I read a different version and it appears to slant the other way kind of saying we want all the money as a principal, but want to push through the agreed amendments soon. Tick tock, I've no idea how LTH's here haven't gone completely bonkers....... 🤷🏻 |

Getting worse, September next date for any real news |
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) criticized Baghdad for delaying amendments to the Federal Budget Law that could address the resumption of oil exports, calling a recent addition "totally unacceptable." The Iraqi government rejected the claims, urging the KRG to comply with revenue-sharing terms to resolve disputes and strengthen cooperation.https://x.com/zoomnewskrd/status/1882527733420368035?s=46 |

Agreed (hope we're wrong). |
In my opinion, John interprets it correctly. The article states: The Federal Government hopes that the esteemed House of Representatives will expedite the adoption of the amendment in accordance with the text approved by the Council of Ministers for the benefit of Iraq and all of Iraq.
-> The Council of Ministers approved it as it was originally intended to be submitted. There is now (after all) no change to the original text, as I understand it. |
Also explains the KRG response. Which is to call foul play. If they were backtracking they would be sending out the olive branches |
I think this clarifies it. The ICG spokesman is saying that the KRG need to hand over ALL oil revenues to the central treasury. Therefore this isn't the government backtracking sadly. It's them digging in. Think John for once has got it wrong. They are standing by their amendment to the amendment and want the KRG to vote it through. |
