There was a flurry of activity a few weeks ago where the KRG and Bagdad said they had finally agreed on exporting the oil. I read this to mean that they had both finally agreed on the new 26 dollar price they were prepared to pay. But this price still needs to be ratified by a budget amendment in parliament. And to do this they will need a new speaker to begin the process. Not to mention needing the companies to change their contracts to this model, that pays per barrel, rather than giving them a percentage of what's in the ground for them to sell at the international price. The companies obviously don't want this change.

Just under 550m nav year end 2023..That doesn't include our net entitlement oil gas and conservate reserves.......We trade at a huge discount to real worth..This will become obvious at takeover announcement which is imo in next 2 weeks

RED yes pretty much since pipe closed many things posted including $20 dollars would be accepted by ICG. They have actually never moved from $6.00 and I cannot see that changing any time soon.

I may be wrong so please correct me. But my understanding of things that need that need to happen are... Elect a new speaker Hear the budget amendments in parliament that would increase the amount paid to 26 dollars per barrel. Get parliament to agree on this. Get the companies to agree to this. Open the pipeline.Off to the races. Until this happens I think we are held in purgatory

Caggins: Foreign oil companies sell 250,000 barrels daily in the Kurdistan Region at $40 per barrel.Currently, under our contract with the KRG, if we produce 100 barrels, 50 go to the KRG and 50 to the companies. We desire similar terms with the Iraqi government.There is a need for new agreements between the companies, Erbil, and Baghdad.The Iraqi government has not proposed any contract amendments, and significant differences remain between the contracts.
