Just for the record the historical average time taken for small start up oil companies such as GKP to be sold is 11 - 15 years.

I am NOT claiming it is sold.

Agree and looking at increase in local pricing indicates a tightening of supply so hopefully we have a 2 fold effect.1. Increased pricing from $25 to $30 (as it's sludge :-) )2. Increased BPD to 50kWould give us 1.6M daily sales which is nice :-)

At the end of the day the KRG are going to have to be transparent. What the financial implications are of doing that is anybody's guess. But I imagine the budget allowance could be cut.

I thought SOMO managing the oil had already been agreed as has using a Turkish bank for receipts ?

The PSC's are a different issue . They are legal and cannot just be changed to suit the ICG. It requires the KRG and GKP to both agree to any changes. So I imagine its APIKUR still negotiating - or trying to thats one hold up.

There has never been any doubt that this is a decade old attempt to control Kurdish oil and the outcome now depends on the 2 major players. Turkey and the USA.

Exactly h7. many do not understand what is going on. The ICG have been setting them up. When the truth comes out the KRG will be declared corrupt and unfit for purpose the ICG will take over all oil deals and go through SOMO. Of course I know ICG are no better but they do not have to answer to Kurds when declaring their own budget percentage. Look at the persistent rhetoric.
Then they can explain to sleepy Joe's crowd why Kurds must be sidelined and all contracts brought inline.
