The amendments to the oil provisions of the Iraqi federal budget law will be included in the 2025 budget tables, which will reach parliament early next year.

The 2025 budget will be submitted to the Iraqi parliament in the new year, said Atwan Atwani, chairman of the Finance Committee of the Iraqi parliament.

The issue of amending Article 12 of the Iraqi budget law, which is agreed upon by the two governments of Erbil and Baghdadi on the price of oil production and transportation in Kurdistan is yet to be approved by parliament.

"A radical solution must be found to the outstanding issues between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government. The goal is not only to add new items to the budget, but to present items that can be implemented," he said.

The amendment to Article 12/2/C of the three-year federal budget law, which deals with the cost of production and transportation of oil in the Kurdistan Region, instead of (6 dollars), for the production and transportation of each barrel of oil 60 days an international specialist company; It will provide a realistic and fair estimate of the cost of production in the region's oil fields and a new price will be fixed on this basis.

After the suspension of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region on March 25, 2023, one of the main disputes between Erbil and Baghdad was the price of oil production and transportation, which was set in the Iraqi budget law of $ 6 per barrel.

Acting Minister of Natural Resources Kamal Mohammed said that the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) is expected to resume oil exports by pipeline to the Turkish port from the beginning of next year."

PSC's still illegal. New terms and conditions still to be offered.
Budget agreement still to be agreed. And any chance it will be agreed has retreated way into 2025.
Smuggled oil likely to be stopped when Trump get's to work.
Has the "Independent committee" started their work yet? Will 60 days be enough? History suggests its likely to take far longer.
Will the Epicur members like the outcome? If not more months of negotiations? Or could it be a "fait accompli"?
Could we be looking at no pipe for two years when we were informed by scotty snowflake it would only be closed for a few days!!!

And as I predicted the share price continues to fall due to absolutely no positive news (that can be trusted) on anything from the Land of Delusion.

Btw, the company isn't sold as the BoD are duty bound to announce such an event or run the risk of a whole heap of trouble. Not that Carroll would understand that!!
