One thing nobody talks about, is the high amounts of due payments from KRG for oil earlier delivered by several IOCs. Will these payments be done as part of this on going agreements ?

Buyback expires 31st December from memory. Would personally prefer a dividend. Buyback may just have been a ploy to stop share price dropping too much when the dividend was paid

Doesn't the buyback have to have a time limit, something to do with Competition and Markets quango?I'm sure I've seen 30 days bandied about on here. Mind you.....Quite like a Santa Divi myself though, pay for some heating.

I would prefer GKP to convert the buyback (if possible) to a further dividend if the good news keeps arriving. Otherwise, buybacks will start to become a little expensive and lessen the benefit.

the discussions are good. The budget law, Article 12, that looks good. There is light at the end of the tunnel. We believe that the discussions, the budget law are moving in the right direction, and we are getting closer.

He gave a sensible reply to the last question while not answering about money owed. His approach was that selling at market value creates a lot of cash for everyone which means that funds would be generated that would enable payments to the IOCs for the outstanding amounts.

Caggins comes across as a decent honest man who calls it as it is. So him saying there's progress and light at the end of the tunnel is of course a positive. 5 weeks to Xmas.
