Why would posters here want to mislead ordinary investors from what is obvious to anyone with some expertise in Corporate M+A?

Their lawyers HERBERT SMITH FREEHILLS have a choreographed forward route to formally closing the sale by short form amalgamation..

Takeover will be announced this month.Timing well....they may , and I believe they do ,want to get the market share price much higher.That I think is the reason this buyback has special rules allowing it to continue after the company enters a close period.That might be this Thursday.The CEO "stay bonus" is paid next January....

I see most of the smaller company buys were later in the day "As I suggested long ago" which kept share price just positive. If not for this we would have been Negative as share price was dropping a bit and poor closing UT.

With 45 years investing/trading experience and having a large GKP holding very cheaply (on advice) well before SH1 hit oil I have some tools in the old box.
Forgive me if I am not amazed by the fly by the seat of their pants crew. Changing avatars monthly after continuously trying to lead people up the garden path.
There are some excellent posters here who have been around a long time.
I maybe should not have posted this now as we are told sold and big announcement on July 4th. I'll take my chances 😊
I would be very happy if we were sold now at 30 quid a share or more.
I don't suffer from terminal greed!

The company is NOT sold that’s blindingly obvious.
They may be in advanced negotiations but nothing will transpire until many precursors are evidenced. My feelings are at best 6-12 months from now updated from my figure of 12-18 months posted 6 months ago. At that time the same clowns were posting "Sale imminent, corporate actions are a signal of this etc, etc, blah blah blah.
Nothing but smoke and mirrors. Politically no advancement confirmed, all meetings and false dawns.

A "whisper from the city guys", must be genuine. I think it's quite obvious that until political issues are resolved in that region that nobody will be willing to part with billions of dollars as the risk doesn't warrant it

Queen lemming sarah, DNO offered paper and cash and then just 70p cash before walking away. It was widely known that they were extremely desperate due to the bond situation and would have taken £1 due to the fact that 18 parties attended the Data Room and only one made an offer. And no one has shown any interest in the past 8 years.

Dragon Oil, my first decent multi-bagger. Bought a grands worth at 9.84p and sold about five years later at, well I thought it was £8.50. That was some battle to get a decent price off ENOC.
It taught me the value of long-term buy and hold and to ignore all the tricks the mm's use to try and get your shares.
