Nobody, outside Herbert Smith Freehills and sine of the GKP board can be CERTAIN of a date.What is CERTAIN is the company is SOLD, and that is likely to be the culmination of at least 18 months probably longer legal and technical DD under a SALES IMPLEMENTATION AGREEMENT that both sides will have signed many moons ago.....

Problem with " Buybacks" is they do not perform same as those holding share price down, they buy in big chunks and do not affect share price in same manner - as share price is based on last trade not biggest. Takes more effort to buy small lots and control share price With DMA it should not matter the size of trade.
Just easier to buy chunks. Also if serious wait till end of trading.

A couple of days after this I emailed Co. asking why the brokers were buying in 125,000 lots instead of small buys which has same muscle flexing effect but also positively affects share price Did not receive answer.

Well it is normally driven down with lots of smaller sells so yes. Good way to counter that.

Gulf Keystone, a leading independent operator and producer in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, announces that on 27 June 2024, it purchased 125,000 common shares of US$1.00 each in the Company ("Shares") on the London Stock Exchange through Canaccord Genuity Limited in accordance with the terms of its share buyback programme announced on 13 May 2024 and 21 June 2024 (the "Buyback Programme").

She always blamed her own greed and stupidity on TK . She ramped the hell out of it when the city was offloading and now doing the opposite when the city is obviously accumulating. She knows the potential of Shaikan - they all do.

She also helped in getting rid of TK because he wouldnt co operate with these city crooks. If he had still been around the company would probably have been sold.
