Nothing feels very stable to me. Words mean nothing. Meetings get nowhere, everyone screws everyone. Hatred abounds and time is irreverent. A stable price is an indication that everything is going nowhere and no one knows where things will end up.

Budget Approval on hold 'INDEFINITELY' for 'POLITICAL' reasons. If not ready for approval next week, will have to wait until after Eid Al Adha which starts 16th June and ends 20 June.

The Kurds are already receiving half of their budget without sending Baghdad a drop of oil because the "Supreme Court" has ordered the ICG to pay the salaries and stop using them to blackmail the Kurds over the oil issue.

And when the ITP agreement expires the Kurds can export 450kbpd which will provide the other half.

But I wouldn't worry your little head over it Sarah, the ICG have called an "emergency" meeting because they know they've backed themselves into a corner so they want it resolved NOW not 15 months from now when they'll have no more control over the issue and will just be a 3rd party trying to negotiate with the Kurds and the Turks for a cut of the action.

It'll be resolved long before September next year, maybe even this week, who knows.

The ME is already a total mess and its unlikely anyone will want to add to it.

Who mentioned Kurdish Independence.

Kurdistan is a semi-autonomous region of Iraq with rights allocated to them under the constitution of Iraq and signed by the Iraqi Government in 2005 to manage their own Oil & Gas industry and sign their own contracts.

Exercising those rights doesn't cause them to cease being semi-autonomous.

Does it.
