Indeed.

The agreement is that in return for their share of the budget the Kurds are required to hand over to SOMO not less than 400kbpd.

What SOMO then do with it is their problem, the onus is on them to market it and I can't imagine SOMO saying "sorry but we don't know what to do with all this oil".

In handing it over the Kurds will have fulfilled their side of the bargain and will get their $1.6 billion a month or whatever it is.

I did tell you a while ago it my personal opinion that the pipeline would not re-open.

now Baghdad saying 400,000 to local refineries, which is not possible. GKP back to trucking 10,000 a day? Looks like that may end up being the only option.

"The Iraqi parliament session scheduled to vote on the budget bill at 1:00 pm today has been postponed to 8:00 pm today," a Rudaw reporter said.

Representatives of the ruling coalition met yesterday and decided to vote on the Iraqi budget bill at today's meeting, according to an official of the coalition .

"The meeting was attended by representatives of all parties to discuss the budget and disputes over it," Mohammad Hosseini, head of the Hikma Movement's foreign relations, told Rudaw.

"It was decided to vote on the budget bill on June 8," Hassan Janabi, a member of the Hikma Movement's general committee, told Rudaw.

"A semi-final agreement has been reached between the Coordination Framework and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) on a number of other provisions of Article 14," Salam Zubaidi, spokesman for the Nasr coalition, told Rudaw . . . .

I doubt anywhere near 400K BOPD and especially our heavy crude could actually be processed by all the local teapots.

Wishful thinking there I believe. Its just due to the required complexity of handling our crude slate and what they will do with the tailings.

Much more complex an issue to process at that scale than it first seems.
