Thats a great find and Todd of course was correct - as he always was. He told the world just how big Shaikan was (21 billion bbls) on a Bloomberg Interview about ten years ago. Shaikan ..the Country maker.

With such a disatrous past this share seems to under the radar now after the constant controlling of the share price plus all the trolls who have spent years slagging us off - so maybe Todd was right all those years ago when he declared that there would be very few private share holders left at the end - the above sounds like the budget and oil law may be passed very close together and perhaps sooner than we anticipated.

Shafaq News/ Iraq's legislative body awaits a green light from Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani to proceed with passing a new hydrocarbons bill for the country, lawmaker Sabah Sobhi said on Monday.

In a statement to Shafaq News Agency, the member of the parliamentary oil and gas committee said, "the hydrocarbons law is an indispensable act. It is a pivot for Mohammad Shia al-Sudani's government program."
"The bill will stem the differences between the federal and regional governments. It is complementary to the political agreement that gave birth to the cabinet," he added.
"The bill mainly relies on Articles 111, 112, and 115 of the constitution to address the disputes between Baghdad and Erbil," he continued.
"We are awaiting a final notification from the cabinet to submit and vote on the budget bill," he concluded.

Was speaking to someone today who worked on the Shaiken drill. He cant beleive that what is below 2950m is not announced.His words were its going to go off like a volcano.

I told him in this market itll be back down to 10p quuicker than TK can pull his pants down.(He laughed)

An intresting video covering all the topics that have plagued us from making any serious money this last few years. With so many conflicts of interest and the Iran meddling it's no wonder many previous investors abandoned this share years ago. If they can push the HCL over the line and then deal with other disagrements over a period of time all well and good - I live in hope - 70 next month - it would be a nice birthday present to see some conclusion and financial benefit beofre I end up 6 ft under!
