Then this nonsense ....

So Malcy reckons there are "minor operational problems" does he, lol lol lol.

Someone tell me when he has managed to get anything correct about any oil company and especially his views on this one.

============================================================================

No Doggie , Malcy is only repeating what he was told in his call to GKP. A GKP BOD representative told him that.

As have others on here , who have constantly tried to explain to idiots , that drilling is full of unknowns and operational issues, such as the ones Malcy briefly outlined - are the norm.

The Kurds have to compromise . Whether they like it or not. This is a reasonable price to pay for the freedom the Oil & Gas Law will give to the Global O&G Community to invest in Kurdistan. The Kurds have some powerful cards to play and they now need to negotiate - seriously and collectively. Time is running out for the Industry.

As I have stated repeatedly - GKP was never the target.

Yes, they just want Kirkuk (Khurmala Dome); the tip of Chemchemal & Kormor back again which all either fully or partially sat outside the Line of Control (marked by a purple dashed line on slide 23 of 47) in 2013 👍

https://shafaq.com/en/Iraq-News/Iraqi-lawmakers-embrace-Barzani-s-vision-for-the-next-governmentI know this has been posted before, and that some of you will defintely be better versed than myself on this.Given the recent judgements from central Iraq, that the Kurdish government have in return argued are unconstitutional, there appears to be a continued deadlock.Although now it appears that Barzani has agreed to commit support in MP numbers to create a ruling government, but and very importantly for us here, under the provision that central Iraq respects Kurdistans oil and gas law, That is my interpretation, and am not sure how this situation can be understood differently.Note: I have not been able to find any information with regards to passing the oil and gas law, but again seems implicit that it would protect current agreements?

I absolutely concur And I'm sure they don't want to hit the 50k bpd at the moment, for political reasons. It would happen if all the ducks were fully aligned. Give it time.

Releasethefraken,

I wasn't surprised as the BOD are very astute and this tells me they have regular meetings to discuss strategy with how to go forward. Paying debt off and also buybacks are the best way to increase future EPS. IF you reduce your outgoings then that theoretically is future EPS growth, don't look at BOPD look at the balance sheet in 2023 results! what they are doing is the way forward trust me.

I was surprised they paying debt off.Buyback or more div , they chose to deleverage further.FDP implementation kicked down the road yet again , very odd.Ah well at least they are generating so much cash monthly if they aren't going to progress growth then looking at 150-200 m extra divs this year.that's a lot .

Thanks G-dogBaby,Yahoo stock screener - there are a few debt free - mainly much smaller cap.Bigger caps almost entirely using debt.I was going to say I was surprised rgds deleveraging further when the FCF merited leveraging up. So makes me more convinced they either are sold or are looking to sell up. As does the endless prevarication re new FDP start up.

h7 I assume you've forgotten about your prediction of early 2021 that the 55k a day was weeks away?

I said they wouldn't reach it in 2021. I also said S14 wouldn't be their last well to achieve the 55k and that they will need S15 at least. We can now see they will need even more wells in addition to S15 and that the 55k is ages away still.

Gas flaring not an issue according to you. Just wait:-)

And you stated the FDP was agreed back in 2021!! So how come the company are still trying to progress it?

What happened to the PSC amendment that was one of JF's first jobs, lol.

Like a reminder of any more of your classics?

Have a look back at my prediction to see that I got very close to it. What have you and your fellow fantasists been correct about? What has RW been proved correct about?

Do try very hard to be honest, you know I've got most of my predictions and views correct.

Remember, you were saying I was making it all up about the problems at S9, S12, S13, S14? As BB just posted up, last year they were telling you suckers it was dry oil. They then proved me correct with the water problems. You still haven't worked out why it took them so long to test the wells have you?

The field is a loc and you'll realise in the fullness of time. Enjoy the divis as provided by the ludicrous artificial price that's been engineered by those with a vested interest to claw back their losses from the pandemic.

Back at ya highlander and we all ought to realise that oil investor managed to get fekk all correct apart from talking a good game.

oil_investor - 27 May 2017 - 18:03:30 - 540180 of 653241

"Shaikan is world-class" - Jon Ferrier

You're obviously unaware of what he's said privately about the field:-)

"Shaikan will produce for 80 to 100 years" - John Gerstenlauer

Yes it could so long as production falls to 1k a day. But the company appear to be on track with that.

"The Reserves are huge and real" - Tony Peart

The Reserves are less than what the CPR's state and the company only have 58% of them.

"GKP have billions of barrels of recoverable barrels" - colleague of Tony Peart

See above, he had a vested interest in what BS Kozel came out with.

"I joined GKP because of the asset" - Jon Ferrier

He joined for the money and then got a shock, see above.

"The Transient Drainage Radius is 6 miles" - John Stafford

Another of "your experts" that even RW thought talked BS.

"Shaikan will produce beyond the lives of our grandchildren" - Jon Ferrier

It will at 1k a day.

"The oil hasn't gone anywhere" - John Gerstenlauer

They can't find it and what they can find they're having massive issues with.

"An extra 0.2% Fracture Porosity would add 800 million barrels to Reserves overnight" - John Stafford

And why is it that all those that made BS announcements have left? They know they got it all wrong?

"Shaikan is second only to Kirkuk" - John Hurst, Exploration Director Genel Energy

Only in alphabetical terms. Genel, the company that over estimated their oil in place and Reserves massively and were forced to reduce them three times? Did he have anything to do with that statement? Would you care to know what JF's reaction and words were when Genel were forced to downgrade their Reserves:-)

The Kozel barrels aren't there, the data from his regime has now been proved to be wrong.

You'll see in the fullness of time. That's when I will rip it out of you again just like I did with the first wipeout:-)
