gap looks closed on 3/2 to me. Resistance @ 220 seems to be acting as support now.

Oil prices could be set for a “prolonged period” above $100 a barrel over the next six to nine months, with the world setting fresh demand records this year, said Vitol Group chief executive Russell Hardy.

Crude already surged to within a few dollars of that level earlier this month, as the recovery in fuel use from the pandemic started to run into supply constraints.

It will be sold at a risked value. But the process will be transparent. It will have to be , because of the risk of a legal challenge. Do you think the likes of Blackrock will tolerate anything else ?

The effort to drive the only remaining sellers available ( private investors ) has been huge this past few days.
I am inclined to think some very good news is close by.

Yes I totally understand and agree, there was almost 5 times as many shares back then and yes there are at least 9 billion barrels oil in place as Ryder scott etc said years back. How many other oil fields in Kurdistan got a naming ceremony party after discovery, truly a massive field but this share, especially since restructuring has been manipulated like I've never seen before, oil is almost 95 dollars a barrel and we are down again below 2 pounds and that's just crazy. We are a true cash register and I find it hard to believe that this will ever be allowed to get to true value before or at a sale if ever one appears, I would love true value but just can not see it happening so for me it's we will keep going and paying a lovely divi and maybe even invest more with the new fdp which the money will come back to us in divi as it is now from previous investment or it will be sold for a lot less than true value but at a considerable increase from here

It's actually nearer 42 barrels per share, NoR, but @ $10/barrel even that comes out at £308/share. :-)

Chinese study gave 3.8 FP , at 2.5 FP you get 9 Bn Blls , which was what is on the AAPG slide , that gives 45 Blls a share.

I'm holding for Chicago Jack's $63 a share. I just phoned Xi Jinping and reckoned I could be pleasantly surprised. Keep it to this board please.

8 quid then was MCAP 6bn quid so equates to around 30 quid now..I'll sell when the top 4 holders do which will be at at board recommended takeover..At least 28 quid could easily be 50quid plus.

One of Warren Buffett's most famous investment sayings is "Be fearful when others are greedy. Be greedy when others are fearful." The late great global investor John Templeton said "The time of maximum pessimism is the best time to buy and the time of maximum optimism is the best time to sell.

I also think we will get an uplift to production guidance before the final results. But I won't be expecting anything good from the FDP submission until the title risk is sorted out.

Bit sad Hab,Speculate figurativelyAnd speculate financially. Not the same.. But feel free to grind it baby.Longer term investors (longer then nobull), will see recent developments as nothing new.Indeed part of hopefully a process of sorting out KRG oil and one reasons for perennial low valuations and never a buy out.No doubt more shenanigans to come...

"TRADE IT"

So tell us Tony, when do you think all your trading will enable you to trade up from that £110k terrace house in Worsley and buy a boat that you don't have to re-wire and tart up with a lick of paint.
