Yep good old Doggie ramped the hell out of it all the way down and is now deramping it as it goes all the way back up again.

None of which made the slightest difference to the outcome then and will make any difference to the outcome now.

and we have copies of all of it.

LOL

All you poor suckers that have been desperately hoping for the all important (rampers words) imminent Oil and Gas Law must be real disappointed at the news. For the umpteenth time:-)

Baghdad and Erbil do have problems agreeing anything don't they. However I've always said that any agreement, lol, wouldn't last longer than it would take Carroll the CON to post up one of her BS takeaway garbage posts.

However what does look ominous is that Baghdad appear serious this time so could it be they will push for the PSC's to be outlawed? Has the fact that the KRG having increased the transit charges for the oil upset Baghdad? Could the oil for budget be on the way down the dunny again?

Another round of biscuit munching on the horizon?

Meanwhile no news on the "imminent" hook up of S13 (early September announcement) and the side tracking of S14. On the weeks leading up to that announcement I did say several times delays don't turn out good. As you will appreciate they didn't and yet again I was proved spot on with my predictions.

Now, weren't the company counting on another "slam dunk" at S13/S14 to achieve the fabled and much hyped up 55k a day? Just like they were with S9 finding the gas cap, ha ha ha. The company made the following statement:-

"Following completion of the acid stimulation programme on SH-13, and the clean-up of SH-14, both wells were brought on stream in December 2021 and their productivity has been below expectations". But the field is just fine and performing to expectation, lol, lol.

The above and what with S12 finding water in the targetted lower zone which forced them back up to the higher zone. But it now appears they've found water there and production has been "curtailed". I wonder if they will have to abandon it?

So would it be correct to believe that the fabled and much hyped 55k a day that has been coming since 2015 isn't going to be achieved for some time? I reckon they will require S15 and probably S16 to get closer.

What a great analysis of the facts and reality innit:-)

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi asked the country’s oil minister, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar, to find a solution to the Kurdistan Region’s oil issue in a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Wednesday (February 16), according to a statement from the council.

Care to explain Sarah.

WOW.

Here's Bigdog's take on how the bidding process will pan out and how the Chinese will get it as there's "no limit to what they will bid", she's got it all worked out.:-

Bigdog5 - 10 Jan 2012 - 21:26:01 - 147958 of 649381

"Hectorp, did you miss the mention of reserves earlier today (bobobob) that are rumoured to be 5b? So how much are you valuing a barrel of 1P at? Or are you working the same way as many here and completely ignoring what the going rate is, that the oil is in one country, its the biggest find for decades and there is every probability that as soon as a bid is in the open the chinese will top it and hopefully force up the opening bid.

Kozel will be under pressure from the yanks and Xom and the KRG but all he has to do is keep saying no until such time as he likes a number they do say. Would XOM or anyone else go hostile, maybe but surely that would play into the hands of the chinese who appear to have no limit to what they will bid. I rather like leesbillbobs £17.40 number."

Brent up $3 today. That NATO meeting this morning seemed to be dubious about Russia pulling back.

How the "hostile/deal by agreement" looking Stockport?

Has the CFO finally moved out of China because he isn't working there for the company you said was taking over the company?

How's the "accumulation theory" progressing pensioner?

What have the accumulators been doing, buying 100 shares a week for eight years?

Could Baghdad be getting serious this time? Is the "oil for budget" arrangement in trouble? Will they insist that the PSC get altered? Will the KRG's hike on pipeline fees be enough or is there more needed to fill their trough?

Any sign of the imminent 55k a day:-)
