12/1/2022 12:42 | RTK these are all possible of course. It would have been far better value to have conducted a share buyback using a proxy ,over the past 2-3yrs , than publically flag a massive in mkt buyback now as price will rocket. The company borrowed 525m with 0 income :)Borrowing 300m costs less than 1 X 25m dividend......and they paid 4 times that last year I think an ops and Corporate Update will be along shortly , it normally is, and we shall find out!A leveraged recapitalisation is certainly the most obvious method to optimise capital structure, the company has flagged this as a possibility several times. The company has far too much cash, generates far too much cash , and should have far more debt.Whether a new bond issue is used to buyback from proxies ( likely) , or in mkt or via tender offer we shall see, but something clearly must happen.Another possibility is that they issue new debt , and pay a very large special dividend, perhaps $2-300m.All of these can address what is a very equity heavy but debt light structure.Major holders will have been calling for some action for a long time , this may explain the votes against the Chairman at last AGM | mr_todd_f_kozel
12/1/2022 12:37 | I would prefer not to hold massive debt, when you have 1 buyer who is a dodgy payer... hopefully the BOD have learnt that that from the restructure... Just buy back 100m of stock either in market or via a proxy, then the rest can be distributed as dividends until we are sold. | goatcam

12/1/2022 12:20 | What is clear, GC, is that there are major share movements going on regularly which smacks of some sort of corporate action being lined up. What it is is harder to work out so we'll probably have to wait for old fatso. | pensioner2
12/1/2022 12:15 | "I still expect a leveraged recapitalisation via proxy." LOL, well Paul... you have literally been wrong about pretty much everything, so likelihood is your wrong again... wish they would just hurry up and announce a buyback. | goatcam
12/1/2022 12:09 | A delicate and evolving balance of economic intuition and empirical evidence is key to continual discovery of new alpha sources. For many prospective signals, sound economic priors continue to be a must. But with rapid advances in computing power, increasing volumes of data, and methodological advances in data science, this balance can now often shift towards more data-driven approaches. Navigating this shift requires the right team culture......... 12/1/2022 12:01 | Shareholder update @ yr end Dec 31.(Using different capital mkts adviser's)Top 3 rock solid combined 31% 63m shares near enough unchanged.UBS down 2.5% @ 5 m shares gone (where?)Acadian asset managers new ( in top ten at least) plus 3.5% just over 7m ( where from?)Insinger ( yet another Dutch private bank ) in at 3.93% that's about plus 8m(where from?)It would be very useful if they showed top 20 ......LOL.- Some musical chairs with stock holdings,as most newcomers will be holding for clients....About 42.5% about 86m shares sit OUTSIDE top 10 - which is a lot.Draws a year end line , I still expect a leveraged recapitalisation via proxy.Whether some of the top 10 are going to be involved in that, perhaps we will shortly find out. :) | mr_todd_f_kozel

12/1/2022 11:05 | . THIS IS THE SMOKING GUN !!! -- Watch the Video, gives more detail. “Premeditated Manslaughter of Millions of People Coordinated at the Highest Levels” – Naomi Wolf and Dr. Malone Respond to Project Veritas --- BOMBSHELL (VIDEO) By Jim Hoft -- Published January 11, 2022 at 11:07am On Monday night Project Veritas released their latest investigation and it was a BOMBSHELL! Project Vertias released never before seen military documents regarding the origins of Covid-19, gain-of-function research, vaccines, potential treatments and the government’s effort to conceal everything. The newly released military documents contradict Dr. Fauci’s testimony under oath. Via Project Veritas: Military documents state that EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA in March 2018 seeking funding to conduct gain of function research of bat borne coronaviruses. The proposal, named Project Defuse, was rejected by DARPA over safety concerns and the notion that it violates the gain of function research moratorium. The main report regarding the EcoHealth Alliance proposal leaked on the internet a couple of months ago, it has remained unverified until now. Project Veritas has obtained a separate report to the Inspector General of the Department of Defense, written by U.S. Marine Corp Major, Joseph Murphy, a former DARPA Fellow. “The proposal does not mention or assess potential risks of Gain of Function (GoF) research,” a direct quote from the DARPA rejection letter. Project Veritas reached out to DARPA for comment regarding the hidden documents and spoke with the Chief of Communications, Jared Adams, who said, “It doesn’t sound normal to me,” when asked about the way the documents were buried. ‘If the Department of Defense felt this [gain-of-function] research was too dangerous to proceed with, why in the world did the NIH, NIAID and EcoHealth Alliance recklessly disregard the risks involved?’ O’Keefe asked his viewers. * * * * * * * * * * * On Tuesday morning Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of the mRNA vaccine, and Dr. Naomi Wolf, a former Clinton adviser and democracy activist, joined Steve Bannon on The War Room to respond to the Project Veritas bombshell. Dr. Malone called it “bigger than the Pentagon Papers.” Dr. Wolf called it “manslaughter of millions of people coordinated at the highest levels.” Naomi Wolf: The fact that Dr. Fauci grossly perjured himself is hugely apparant. It is the least of the crimes if indeed these are verified documents… I can’t overstate this, this is a premeditated kind of manslaughter of millions of people coordinated at the highest levels according to these documents. Treatments that would have saved lives were intentionally or reportedly intentionally suppressed. The Gateway Pundit .com | ![]() 1waving
12/1/2022 10:57 | . JANUARY 10, 2022 Military Documents About Gain of Function Contradict Fauci Testimony Under Oath [WASHINGTON, D.C. – Jan. 10, 2022] Project Veritas has obtained startling never-before-seen documents regarding the origins of COVID-19, gain of function research, vaccines, potential treatments which have been suppressed, and the government’s effort to conceal all of this. The documents in question stem from a report at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, better known as DARPA, which were hidden in a top secret shared drive. DARPA is an agency under the U.S. Department of Defense in charge of facilitating research in technology with potential military applications. Project Veritas has obtained a separate report to the Inspector General of the Department of Defense written by U.S. Marine Corp Major, Joseph Murphy, a former DARPA Fellow. The report states that EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA in March 2018, seeking funding to conduct gain of function research of bat borne coronaviruses. The proposal, named Project Defuse, was rejected by DARPA over safety concerns and the notion that it violates the basis gain of function research moratorium. According to the documents, NAIAD, under the direction of Dr. Fauci, went ahead with the research in Wuhan, China and at several sites across the U.S. Dr. Fauci has repeatedly maintained, under oath, that the NIH and NAIAD have not been involved in gain of function research with the EcoHealth Alliance program. But according to the documents obtained by Project Veritas which outline why EcoHealth Alliance’s proposal was rejected, DARPA certainly classified the research as gain of function. “The proposal does not mention or assess potential risks of Gain of Function (GoF) research,” a direct quote from the DARPA rejection letter. Major Murphy’s report goes on to detail great concern over the COVID-19 gain of function program, the concealment of documents, the suppression of potential curatives, like Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine, and the mRNA vaccines. Project Veritas reached out to DARPA for comment regarding the hidden documents and spoke with the Chief of Communications, Jared Adams, who said, “It doesn’t sound normal to me,” when asked about the way the documents were shrouded in secrecy. “If something resides in a classified setting, then it should be appropriately marked,” Adams said. “I’m not at all familiar with unmarked documents that reside in a classified space, no.” In a video breaking this story published on Monday night, Project Veritas CEO, James O’Keefe, asked a foundational question to DARPA: “Who at DARPA made the decision to bury the original report? They could have raised red flags to the Pentagon, the White House, or Congress, which may have prevented this entire pandemic that has led to the deaths of 5.4 million people worldwide and caused much pain and suffering to many millions more.” . | ![]() 1waving
