"Our peers Genel and Shamaran issued RNSs as usual a couple of weeks ago to report that they were paid for August's output.

GKP however have not reported receipt of their payment from the MNR.

Can you confirm that we have received August's payment.

Is this just an oversight or something else?"

From IR half an hour ago:-

"Hi.

As soon as we receive payment we’ll let the market know. There’s often a slight difference in payment dates and hope to update ASAP.

Best."

So not paid yet but nothing to suggest that we won't be or that anything's amiss other than it's just late.

So we wait.

Well pensioner, no one has purchased the company notwithstanding all you rampers ramping that its been coming imminently so I've been getting that correct. If the field was any good wouldn't you have expected somneone to have purchased it by now? Majors/anyone don't wait 12 years if they reckon its worthwhile do they:-)

Also it would appear that payments have reverted to longer waits at a time when Erbil is supposed to be receiving their percentage of the budget from Baghdad and the oil price ought to be bulging their coffers.

Rather proves my views.
