ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – A senior European Union official said on Monday that the alliance strongly supports plans for next month's planned national elections in Iraq, pointing to the imminent dispatch of teams to monitor the vote.

The statement was made by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, during his meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi in Baghdad.

A statement issued by Kadhimi's office quoted Borrell as saying that the European Union is keen "to support the upcoming Iraqi parliamentary elections by sending monitoring teams from the European Commission and Parliament."

Borrell also praised Iraq's current regional role "as a forum for views," and the support that Baghdad represents for the stability of the region and the consolidation of peace and security in it.

Iraqi legislative elections are scheduled for Oct. 10, with security procedures already being tightened across the country.

According to the statement, Kadhimi said that his government gives "great attention to the relationship with all European Union countries in various fields, especially political, economic and cultural."

"Iraq's keenness to benefit from the European experience in transforming diversity into an element of strength, by following democratic mechanisms and good governance," the leader stressed.

The SH-2 well penetrated heavy, tar-like deposits at various depths between 1,370m and 1,407m TVDSS.

The PESB London lectures (Feb-2018) showed a slide indicating that SH-2 hit a very heavy zone with 11°API in the lower Butmah.

Water isn't the only issue down there.
If you misjudged the depth or if the transition zone depth has changed you might well end up with quite a downhole mess on your hands...

Kurdman, it looks like Hills is being deliberately thick.

How can it have been flowing for 12 months if it had a workover was brought back up the well and then restarted in another zone? Why would they target the lower zone and then move it up if they hadn't hit something they didn't want? Why would they go to another zone unless it was for a specific reason knowing that the only zone they drill to would produce? Why would they spend more money going deeper? They wouldn't and its obvious they wanted to try and increase the Reserves by looking in a different zone. It failed which means it mullered the Reserves and also proved they still don't understand the field. Just like S6 and S9 did. Then there's all the other wells that production numbers prove are having issues. Only one pump after 6 years but all is just fine, lol.

No wonder these ramping morons miss all the evidence and clues.

Would I be correct in believing its pointless talking to these morons?

BD CPR was down only bc the made the Triassic P2 to contingent change.Which would obviously come back or not after drill pilot.But the might be something wrong with butmah I don't know.Maybe the well as it was only,after a year would do 2-3k. Maybe if it was drilled differently the zone could produce higher. I have no idea.However you've decided. Was it water or crud? Or not flowing.? It does seem the company hide a lot of stuff under the hood.
