27/8/2021 08:40 | OILVOICE India’s petrochemicals demand is expected to jump ten times by 2050, the president of India’s Chemicals and Petrochemicals Manufacturers’ Association (CPMA) said at the CPMA - Argus Petrochemical Online Forum on Wednesday. According to CPMA president Kamal Nanavaty, India’s demand for petrochemical products will double every nine years at an annual growth rate of 8 percent. The country’s demand for petrochemicals has been growing faster than the economy in recent years, and will rise more than GDP this year, too, Nanavaty said at the CPMA – Argus forum. Indian petrochemical manufacturers could benefit from the surge in demand by co-locating petrochemical production facilities together with refineries, the Indian executive said. The petrochemical-refine After a COVID-induced slump, India’s petrochemical demand is expected to return to pre-pandemic levels during the current fiscal year to March 2022, CPMA’s secretary general Mahinder Singh told ICIS last month. | highlander7

27/8/2021 08:07 | GKP is one of the largest piggy banks in the UK spewing out cash with regularity. It will soon be bang gone as predators won’t want it spewing out even more cash at 55000 BOPD, as the price to take it out will ramp up significantly 👍 | steephill cove
27/8/2021 07:58 | The article below should have said Buy the UK & specifically BUY GKP, based on the content below at the end of the article Here is the final section. The thing is, in the longer run, fundamentals (for want of a better word) will out. Why? Because ultimately, fundamentals are what drive the money-making ability of a company. The market as a whole, may not value those fundamentals. But as a result, those who do value them, are more than happy to come along and snap up a bargain. That's why we're seeing all these bids at the moment. "Oh what, you don't want this piggy bank that spews out cash, because it's not on the blockchain and it's listed in politically toxic Britain? Well, suit yourself, I'll have it." Sometimes investing is complicated. Sometimes it's simple. This is one of the simple times. Buy the UK. hxxps://moneyweek.co | steephill cove

27/8/2021 06:17 | "Have you forgotten already about the gas problem and flaring? You really must seek some help with that memory of yours." Just a reminder Doggie ... that the Kurds have recently confirmed. ==================== The "Gas Issue" Oil contains gas ( called the gas /oil ratio - GOR) this is removed from the oil using a Separator . The gas is then vented to atmosphere using a tower . This does not comply with the requirements of API ( American Petroleum Institute ) and International (ISO) standards. (This is what is happening with GKP currently) HOWEVER all companies do it in the early stages of production and are given permission to do so under these same regulations ( a dispensation) until it becomes reasonable to dispose of it by other methods . This is NORMAL oilfield practice. Stopping flaring gas to atmosphere without an alternate means of disposal , results in having to shut down ALL oil production. Which would bankrupt Kurdistan. So the normal outcome is to ask the Operators to submit a Project plan/time frame for alternate means of disposal. ( which is what GKP have done ) | highlander7
27/8/2021 06:04 | "There was no offer made by Chevron as all offers have to be made known. Its a City thing and something they're rather strict about" Wrong again. Initial approaches to assess terms and conditions /price do NOT have to be reported to the market or any one else. All that has to be reported are formal offers in writing. I.e A Contract. In any case how would the "City" know about them if they were informal ? Yet more bluster and BS. H7 | highlander7

27/8/2021 04:20 | Then of course we had the position of GKP opening a DATA ROOM.For those that have never seen , or been in one. This is a space, physical or online , where all the information any potential bidder would need to evaluate the company were it interested in purchasing it , is collated in a single location. Usually a Director is also nominated to deal with all enquiries and questions associated with same.Normal practice.Bidders have to pre qualify to get access. In other words demonstrate (a) they are serious and (B) Show they have resources to purchase the company if required.Considerabl | ian_hannam
