They have the authority to use a proxy , or any method to buy, outside of the in market .I expect an announcement pre sale ,that they have acquired a big lump of stock ( acquired by a proxy over the past 3years ) since they gave themselves that right, without notifying publically along the way.I hope it's 25%++, which when they cancel, will concentrate takeover profits higher still

The last update we had was back in June and the next one isn't due for another two weeks so we're in a period of no news.

When an oil company is in a no news period it'll track the oil price.

Surges in covid around the world have seen a fall in the oil price and the share prices of oil companies have tracked it down accordingly.

Including GKP.

It's what happens Sarah, it's not rocket science and it's not a prediction it's mearly a statement of the bleeding obvious.

Ans when the oil price went back up this afternoon the share price tracked it back up which is why the shares I bought earlier on with dividend money are now in profit.

But because you're a total bonehead you didn't get any dividends did you.

And so you missed out.

I caught it at 150.2p Tony which I thought was a good point at which to re-invest some of my six figure dividends ready for the next run up.

As the pair of you don't hold any shares and so didn't get any dividends I guess you missed out again.

Shame.

Here's where they gave themselves the authority to use any method they like:b) By deleting Byelaw 4 and replacing it with the following:"4. The Board may, at its discretion and WITHOUT the sanction of a ,Resolution (i) authorise the purchase by the Company of its own shares for cancellation or acquire them as Treasury Shares in accordance with the Companies Acts on such terms as the Board shall think fit and (ii) exercise all the powers of the Company to purchase or acquire all or any part of its own shares in accordance with the Companies Acts."
