It's why I keep telling you that we aren't interested in your views opinions and predictions and that they're irrelevant, how can they possibly make a difference.

It's the official communications whether positive or negative, to the market that's important.

You have a serious problem Tony, unfortunately for you you're the only one who can't see it.

It's called an inferiority complex.

It's why you have a constant and deep seated need to engage in "one upmanship", a condition that has it's roots in your childhood and which was compounded by the fact that you didn't finish your education and were chucked out of school. Consequently you don't have a qualification to your name and don't have the technical ability to understand anything about reservoir engineering even when people have gone to a great deal of trouble to explain it to you over the years.

It's why you make yourself look ridiculous with your constant need to boost your ego by telling people that you know something that they don't but at the same time knowing as the rest of us do that you cannot substantiate what you say.

What I find strange is that people really believe that the whole field is that shape and straightforward. That graph is a very simplified and for presentation purposes.

Would be wise for people to Google images of rock formations and strata in Kurdistan and then revisit that image from nestofnutjobs with a smile.

Correct Eddie ,"nearly lost control" means emergency depressurisation , hence the H2S release to atmosphere. Nowadays we would know everything going on downhole and plan accordingly.

The max pressure rating for onshore Blow Out Preventors used to be 15k psi . Its probably higher now , possibly nearer 20k. This might enable them to go back in.

There have also been new engineering materials and PPI for H2S developed at Kashagan. So it is not the issue it used to be.

Reservoirs & fluid contacts schematic.
In the diagram it only shows the SH1 drill bit to circa 2300m, with a circled area below it, labelled Major Target for SH2 well.
But the diagram clearly shows that they had drilled below that to 2950m & they had perforated the Permian.

And that is why there was a name plate ceremony for Shaikan 1, attended by major dignitaries.

They knew from just Shaikan 1 alone, that they had hit The Prize, when they were very nearly dealing with a major oil rig blow out ;-)
