06/7/2021 15:22 | Digby, There isn't a dark side, just a side of reality based on information from all sources some you can see and some you can't. As you say, if everything was as rosy as some say the price would be much higher 🤷a | kurdman63

06/7/2021 14:54 | "It was interesting what Mac posted yesterday about S10. Bearing in mind S5 is on the boundary and its closest well is S6 I would think that will also be a "problem" well." Bigdog, we know from the Operations Update of 11/3/19 that wells 5,10 and 11 were to be worked over and fitted with ESPs as part of the current programme. Jon Harris reiterated a couple of weeks ago that wells 10 & 11 are to be worked over and fitted with their ESPs within the next few weeks which means that they are both good wells. Regarding Sh-5, we have not yet been specifically told that it has been worked over and fitted with a pump. What we can infer from that is that either it's already been done but they haven't told us or that they've decided not to fit it with a pump for whatever reason. But Shaikan-5 is an exploration well that was drilled during the exploration phase, it was not drilled as a production well. So it's therefore quite possible or even probable that it's not optimally located for production purposes. Which is unsurprising and perfectly normal as deciding where you want to put your production wells can't be done until after you've done the initial exploration work, something that I think is pretty obvious. So drilling exploration wells that can't then be used for production is not something that you need to fret over Bigdog, if it CAN be used as a producer then that's a bonus, so just relax. But having said that, what we do know about Sh-5 is that it's in a highly fractured location, that it's been in production for the 10 years since it was drilled and that two years ago the intention was to work it over and fit it with an ESP. So instead of just sitting there speculating about what MIGHT happen, just leave it to the experts and wait and see. Shutting down old wells and drilling new ones is all perfectly normal and is to be expected in the course of any oilfield development. So don't worry about Sh-5. It's a bit like putting down an old dog that's more trouble than it's worth and getting a new one. If only. | habshan

06/7/2021 14:14 | BigDog (miserable git) 😂 SH10 has always been a problematic well that struggles to flow. Can you imagine what would happen if SH1 gassed out like the company thinks it can, imagine losing that production 😱 I'm of the opinion that the EXPERTS have got the gas situation wrong and they will soon come around to my way of thinking. | kurdman63
