Oil prices hit 2018 highs after talks to boost production are called off
Rising oil costs have been a major source of the inflation witnessed in western economies since the pandemic has eased.

Saudi Arabia is the biggest oil producer within the OPEC+ group
Global oil costs have hit their highest level since October 2018 after talks between major oil producing nations aimed at slowly lifting supplies ended in acrimony.

International benchmark Brent crude and US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were changing hands above £77 a barrel and $76 a barrel respectively on Tuesday morning - building on gains seen last week when the negotiations began.

They involved the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and other major Brent producers, including Russia, who have aligned in recent years to deliver more control to production - and therefore prices - following a series of supply gluts.

There are trolls, but the constant, never-ending barrages here are in large part orchestrated, as you would expect, given the massive disparity of the Company true value in M and AEvery 1 share acquired sub 2 quid might save buyers /(or make profit for hedges that an see this long since) 18 quid a share, if it sells for 20 quid.Thats super prudent

ok lets crunch the numbers shall we 🤔

you say you've still got your pre restructure shares:

well even if you paid 4.5p for them back in 2009 (as GRH1 likes to keep reminding his new found fanatical fanbase over on PRD) that's 450p equivalent price post restructure - hardly a long term profitable holding to be shouting about 😉

leave it to the experts you said:
14 wells drilled (13 producing) in 12 years and producing the same volume as they were 6 years ago is hardly a resounding success nor is producing 4,230 bpd on average from each well an astonishing achievement from such a massive field as pastor bob and habby scam likes to call it 🤡

300p strong buy you said:
my what a fantastic investment return that is if we are to believe all your strong buy top ups are added up alongside all those (still underwater) pre restructure shares 🤦‍a94;️

and finally

you're here until the bitter 'bang gone sold' end you say:
well good luck with that but given your age, I suspect you and many other of your likeminded long term (underwater) holders will be pushing up the daisies with dear old pastor bob and the mad plumber long before that ever happens 😇

eeh bah gum its STILL just as good in here innit - rattle rattle 😋

Big move coming? There are some chunky buys flowing in now. Or is it just the shorters realising they've called it wrong?

Warren Buffet ..

"buy when others are fearful"

What none of them realise is that the past is very seldom , if ever , repeated in the future. GKP is now a cash cow , with ever increasing production likely in the future ( accompanied by a rising oil price) . If not by GKP then by A.N. Other.

The Investment case should be obvious if you keep emotions out of it and crunch the numbers.

IMO

What Kurdman63 & Bigdog5 do not realise, is that the original Baron Rothschild quote actually ended, with the words, even if the blood is your own.

Bigdog5 always quotes the GKP consolidation as being disastrous to PIs & in truth it was not nice. However, it also presented an opportunity to PIs at that time with the open share offer upon consolidation & again last year with the onset of the COVID19 pandemic & the collapse of the oil market.

Investing is not rocket science & sometimes you just have to pay attention to lessons from history, because it has a habit of repeating itself (see below).

Sheldon Adelson.

The most cited part of the Rothschild quote is to Buy when there is blood in the streets.

But it turns out that this is incomplete.

The original quote is believed to be Buy when there is blood in the streets, even if the blood is your own.

Las Vegas Sands founder Sheldon Adelson took that advice to heart.

Adelson was once the third-richest American behind Warren Buffett and Bill Gates.

But he saw his net worth fall from $28 billion in 2007 to just over $3 billion in March 2009. The share price of his casino empire, Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS), collapsed from a high of $133 in October 2007 to a low of $2.28 in February 2009.

At the depth of the crisis, Adelson injected $1 billion of his own cash into Las Vegas Sands to keep it afloat.

That gave the company just enough breathing room to launch a $2.1 billion share sale in the U.S. It also organized a $2.5 billion listing of Sands China in Hong Kong. This subsidiary runs Las Vegas Sands Macao casinos.

Adelson showed instincts worthy of the worlds best gambler. He doubled down on his bets and pressed on with the Marina Bay Sands casino resort in Singapore.

Today, Adelson stands at No. 17 on the Forbes 400.

The time to buy is when theres blood in the streets.

Baron Rothschild.

No Baron, the actual time to buy is when Kurdman63 & Bigdog5 are telling you theres GKP blood in the streets.

PS:- And by the way Bigdog5 it is not just TWO dividends that I will be getting, because as well as the dividend income in the ISA & SIPP being TAX FREE (No CGT), in the SIPP the income tax paid is also reclaimed by my provider twice and then returned to my account as another chunky percentage, the details of which is none of your business. That too will be reinvested by myself into yet more FREE GKP shares, thanks to Kurdman63 & yourself. Thanks chaps, I couldnt have done it without you ;-)
