17/4/2021 09:38 | ERBIL - Welcoming a condemnation by the US, the UK, France, Germany, and Italy of the recent attack on Erbil International Airport, PM Masrour Barzani reaffirmed that the KRG is committed to working with the international allies to defeat terrorism. "I welcome this clear, unanimous condemnation by friends and partners of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region of the recent attack on Erbil," the Kurdish premier wrote on Twitter. He further reminded that the common goal of the sides is to ensure stability for all Iraqi people. "We have a common goal: stability and security for all the Iraqi peoples and victory in the war on ISIS." "I reaffirm the KRG’s commitment to working with our international allies to defeat terrorism — in all its forms. I look forward to consulting our friends on ways to strengthen these efforts," Barzani concluded. The five countries in a joint statement condemned Wednesday's attack on Erbil International Airport which was carried out via a drone rigged with explosives. "We, the governments of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America condemn in the strongest terms the April 14 attacks in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region," reads the statement. "Together, our governments will support the Government of Iraq's investigation into the attacks to ensure that those responsible will be held accountable," the statement added. | nestoframpers
17/4/2021 09:37 | and your point is ? Seems like DNO had no problem taking it over. IF true. XOM are here to make a profit so they are obviously exiting low margin assets. IF true. Smart move. If the KRG PSC for Shaikan is negotiated to give a higher margin than currently , then they may step in. Thats how the industry has always worked Sarah. IMO | ![]() highlander7
17/4/2021 09:19 | A little bit missing off the end of Chips post. "Earlier this year, ExxonMobil sold its 32% stake in the Baeshiqa licence in the Kurdistan region of Iraq to Norwegian oil and gas operator DNO" | mcfly02
17/4/2021 08:46 | Good Morning 😃 Here's another one from CCC on LSE. hxxps://www.offshore 16 April 2021 (Last Updated April 16th, 2021 12:02) Exxon Mobil is reportedly planning to divest its 32.7% stake in Iraq’s West Qurna-1 oil field in a bid to slash its debt. The 500,000 b/d capacity West Qurna 1 oil well is located in the southern Basrah province. Claimed to be the largest of its kind in the world, the West Qurna-1 field is estimated to have recoverable reserves of more than 20 billion barrels. In November last year, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg that the stake sale could fetch ExxonMobil at least $500m. Tell me again how GKP is worth minimum £17 a share and 3.7 billion MK cap in tomorrows sold announcement. | mcfly02
17/4/2021 08:42 | Mc the Chinese have been looking at GKP for at least 4 years . XOM went through the process when they bought into Kurdistan. Its impossible to forecast whats going to happen and pointless posting when the boards are flooded with idiots with an agenda. However I learnt a few lessons with ASOS and DES ...wait ...but take profits when appropriate. There will not be any warning. The only reason I am still here (and on LSE) is these bully boys ( like BD5 / Macfly and Broadfraud ) will not scare me off. H7 | ![]() highlander7
17/4/2021 07:54 | True K4. Sadly they have succeeded in ruining LSE just like they destroyed this board. Only a few stalwarts remain, the rest have allowed themselves to be bullied off the boards. Shame. I wonder how "goatcam" is doing these days ? LOL | ![]() highlander7
17/4/2021 07:52 | Oil Demand Is Finally Bouncing Back By OILVOICE - Tom Kool - Apr 16, 2021, 2:00 PM CDT Oil demand is finally bouncing back despite the fact that Covid cases are rising and additional travel restrictions have been put in place. Oil prices moved higher this week after the demand outlook improved. While Covid cases are up significantly from a few weeks ago, and travel restrictions have proliferated, demand still looks strong and on the rise. IEA raises oil demand forecast. The IEA raised its oil demand forecast for 2021 by 230,000 bpd, citing improving vaccination efforts and U.S. stimulus. | ![]() highlander7
17/4/2021 07:39 | If Gertjan Koomen has 4+% is it not unreasonable to assume that Didier Martineau would hold "a few"? 🤔 It seems like the City 🤩🤩 🙄 | k4n4k
17/4/2021 07:25 | H7- well the availability of second hand avatars helps the trolls...a little bit. But they're so substandard you can't take them seriously. ADVFN is purely for entertainment purposes.😀 Mcfly Zero Two from the Special Airhead Service has a motto: He who doesn't know, loses. A lifetime of deceit and finally end up getting used in this story. It's so funny. 🤠 | k4n4k
17/4/2021 06:26 | From LSE.... Indeed there are cages severely rattled by the sound of it - but not mine ! LOL But somebody is , if they can spend hours going though all my old posts. Why dont you post my old technical posts on so called “Gas Issues” and FDP’s ? I have never given MY value of GKP because Corporate Finance is not my area. However what I did was give the opinion of an expert I happen to know and trust. My strategy is the same now as it was 10 years or so ago ,when I was tipped off about GKP by another expert friend. HOLD and buy large dips. As for trolls , you have only to look at the tremendous time and effort being put in to pursuade us that GKP is worth a few pounds . The constant attacks on ONLY +ve and knowledgable posters , then ask yourself why ? Why would groups , or individuals go to such lengths - over a period of ~ 10 years ? Then this “Paul” they all seem so obsessed about ( another +ve poster BTW ) but they don’t seem to bother about the likes of Bigdog5 or Macfly/OM63 posting non stop rubbish 24/7 for a DECADE. Why not ? As for CPR’s ? Go and google what a CPR is , and actually for. Calling me duplicitious ? That’s not just the pot calling the kettle black it’s the whole kitchen Yes I made a genuine mistake with Shamaran. I stand by my prior observation CCC you are an idiot. ==================== and he is in good company. | ![]() highlander7 |
