The Ryder Scott evaluation / CPR (Jan-2011) followed on from the initial DGA evaluation in Jan-2010, and was based on results from one well plus initial and relatively poor seismics.

The ERCE evaluation / CPR (June 2016) was based on the results from 9 producing wells plus further seismics, plus further petrophysical interpretations and fracture analyses.

You might not like the ERCE conclusions, but their data (supplied by GKP) is at least more up to date than was DGA / Ryder Scott's.

It remains the only valid interpretation of Shaikan's economic future.

The widely expected 2nd Amendment and updated CPR remain mirages...

"Abu Dhabi's Supreme Petroleum Council announces new discoveries of 22bn bl of recoverable unconventional oil resources.
The reserve additions were confirmed by Houston-based independent petroleum consultants Ryder Scott, according to the SPC."

Ryder Scott are a top reputable outfit which is why top government outfits like ADNOC use them and is why GKP used them to confirm DGA's numbers.

"Gulf Keystone announced a major revision of the gross oil-in-place volumes for the Shaikan discovery in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

The revised gross oil-in-place volumes for the Shaikan discovery, as calculated by Dynamic Global Advisors (DGA), independent Houston-based exploration consultants, are a P90 value of 4.9 billion barrels to a P10 value of 10.8 billion barrels of oil-in-place with a mean value of 7.5 billion barrels and a P1 value of 15 billion barrels.

The revision is based on the data acquired since the last resource evaluation of the Shaikan discovery by DGA issued in January 2010, which was supported by an additional third party analysis by Ryder Scott.

John Gerstenlauer, Gulf Keystone's Chief Operating Officer, commented, "We have always believed that the initial gross oil-in-place range for the Shaikan discovery was a conservative estimate that would increase as more information became available.
We firmly believe that even with this upward revision the numbers for the Shaikan discovery are still conservative."

From LSE SOLDSo as the company told everyone in 2016 they have an extra $200m debt facility.They have to date never taken it up to grow production...we'd be at 75k min if they had.....This is why .....it's never been about growing product ion ..it's always been about maximising profit on sale for remaining shareholders.Perella Weinberg....real loonies lol#GKPFor all holders a leveraged recapitalisation pre sale announced would be fantastic,as it will concentrate profits at T/O hugely.Let us hope Perella + Kimberley had the foresight.I'm sure they will have had judging by the bye law amendment mods of June 2919.?? https://t.co/LJRePTYWjQ
