So Perella have , concentrated all holder s by 8.5%, stripped absurd option levels down to whatever buyer and seller agree, via the LTIP resolution. Corporate engineering magic.Sale could be as early as Monday. However the next masterstroke BEFORE SALE would be another BUYBACK PROGRAM, buying straight to cancellation, and yet more concentration.

McFly02:- And just to confirm that GoatCam isn't reliant on Gulfs staff and is unaffected by the cuts!

They can sack the whole company and GoatCam would be unaffected.

Also the staff HAVE NOT BEEN PUT ON STANDBY they have been and are being terminated!

Comedy Gold.

Someones a little agitated :-)

Reducing staff by 40 %. That’s a big cut , are we expecting some Chinese workers in to learn the crack and have a smooth takeover. 😆

The net payment received, $2.1M, does not seem to fit with the PSC Terms.

If we continue to assume 80%WI for both CO + PO, CO still being charged out at 40% of Available Crude, Brent Average for the month of $29.38, SH Discount constant at $21/bbl, Output as 35.9Mbopd and a continuing 30% Tax, the figure should be closer to $3.5M.

What changed?

LSE

From Oilprice: “It may sound far-fetched at a time when many are worrying if Brent could rise back to $50 a barrel, but at least one analyst believes the benchmark could not only recoup all that it lost in value since the start of the year but shoot up over $100 a barrel in the observable future.

"The reality is the chances of oil going toward $100 at this point are higher than three months ago," JP Morgan's head of oil and gas research for EMEA, Christyan Malek, said as quoted by CNN.”

Who knows? But one thing seems sure: high-risk wildcatting, with failure rates of 90% to 95% and colossal budgets, are not what Big Oil is looking for. Development projects offer many attractions - but where are the bargains?

Pensioner - "$2.1m for May."

That's not a bad result. The main thing is that the payment schedule settles down again.

The average May price for Brent was around $28.

So far this month Brent has averaged around $39 and is currently at $41.6.

So all is heading in the right direction.

Hopefully when the KRG decide that the lockdown can be lifted Jon Ferrier will decide that we can get back to work and pick up where we left off.

Interesting.

Nos.2&5 refer to the re-appointments of Jaap Huijskes and Jon Ferrier and no.8 refers to the approval of the Remuneration Report.

"The Board notes that Resolutions 2, 5, and 8 were duly passed but did not attain the support of 80% of shareholders who voted. In accordance with provision 4 of the 2018 UK Corporate Governance Code, the Board will consult and engage with shareholders as appropriate. The Company will provide an update within six months of the AGM, in accordance with the 2018 UK Corporate Governance Code."

Some 28-30% of votes were cast against
