12/6/2020 16:15 | Takeaway is on it's way. I can smell it. | xomhero
12/6/2020 16:13 | But all is just marvellous isn't it Mac:-) Don't the company keep saying everything is meeting expectations? But isn't it odd that they haven't explained precisely the working interest in the field? Just why is the KRG's 20% "missing". Or why GKPI still has a percentage when it was a simple job we were told under the Kozel era to transfer it? Or how the costs are split? Or if the MNR have to fund anything? Didn't they have to dip into their wallets when the field went commercial? So much for transparency eh. | bigdog5
12/6/2020 15:38 | Good Afternoon Jamie 😃 My understanding is that everything currently running into PF2 has problems and certain wells have had problems for a longtime. This is why the company won't release individual data on each well. Peel back the gloss and the truth be known. | mcfly02
12/6/2020 14:50 | Thanks for that BB. Looking forward to highlander7's dismissal of it. As for your last para I doubt that very much. | bigdog5
12/6/2020 14:04 | I take it GKP won't make 2021 then? If we are still here next July, I'll be laughing at more nutters than just Bigdog. :0 | xomhero

12/6/2020 12:39 | Good morning bigdog, Anyone who uses Boyle’s Law (UK O-level) on its own to describe the pressure depletion behaviour of an oil reservoir is most certainly not an oil-industry expert – nor is he well-versed in such matters. Boyle’s Law is essentially a simplistic, experimental gas law that describes how the pressure of a gas increases as the volume of the container decreases. The experimental proving involves a container and a relatively pure gas – neither of which is the case when considering SH pressure depletion. As you know, Boyles Law states that the product of Pressure and Volume is a constant for a given mass of confined gas - provided the temperature is constant. When comparing different sets of conditions, the law can usefully be expressed as: P1V1 = P2V2. Or to put it another way: Pressure is inversely proportional to the Volume. For crude oil reservoirs such as Shaikan, Boyle’s Law can only be considered to deliver an approximation. Boyle’s Law pays no attention to Temperature, nor does it include any reference to the Molar Mass of the gas, nor does it include any reference to the Gas Compressibility Factor. Shaikan is not a gas reservoir – it is an oil reservoir in which gas is held in solution, only to be released when the pressure holding it in solution drops. Shaikan is not a closed container – it is a series of extremely complex formations with many very significant unconformities. These unconformities have resulted in a wide range of flow rates, oil densities, gas qualities (e.g. S, H2S, CO2), reservoir pressures, compressibility at reservoir and Gas:Oil Ratios. The unconformities extend to the lateral connections between fractures (and other areas of the field) and the vertical continuity of such fractures. These unconformities have implications for other fluids contacts, gas and GOR. A perusal of the Jurassic Oil PVT Table 5.1 (P36) in the last CPR might have helped their understanding, showing as it does that there are a huge range of gas qualities and gas quantities (in solution) throughout the various formations and throughout the whole field. These can only be established by drilling and sampling – every hole improves your knowledge. The computer models are only as good as the latest data fed to them. It’s quite clear that the pressure drops being seen across the field are varying from well to well and from formation to formation – they are not constant and nor are they linear. I expect the forthcoming AGM to shed some light on these aspects; we might even be told which wells are now effectively non-producers. | broadford bay
12/6/2020 12:33 | Not by the look of the FTSE, TT. Get rid of the other 1/4 imo. | pensioner2

I have bought Djia weekly Puts 3 wks on trot. 2 failed and 3rd time lucky. Sold 3/4 running 1/4. Sale proceeds going in here. Rgds buyers, I expect a consortium of West and East | thicktony

12/6/2020 11:40 | "Thanks thick Tony" No TPI isnt Oilcan. Oilcan is a lot smarter. He is just another one of Oilcans bully boys. LOL | highlander7
12/6/2020 11:38 | There are only ,2 people going to the AGMThe Chairman and a chap from Computershare Holland. | chinese_takeover
12/6/2020 11:35 | If anyone at the AGM says they are XOMhero, don't believe them. They are an imposter. | xomhero

12/6/2020 11:33 | Agree Thick TonyI expect news of Sale at or soon after AGM, once they have formal approval voted through for the updated share option vesting and adjustment conditions, after the sale by amalgamation, in the LTIP AGM Resolution. | chinese_takeover

12/6/2020 11:28 | WOW must be exceptionally busy times in the old (cabbage) patch office today 👀 just the 4 posts so far from our duplicitous (exiled) Scottish doppelganger, that is of course in between all the hitting of his obsessional itch refresh button to see if any of the arch enemies have said anything, oh and lets not forget the time spent in the ticking up of old fiends 😉 12 more years whilst we leave it to the 'experts' huh ? quite some life expectancy for an already aged cabbage patch doll 🤣 🤣 🤣 bang gone sold - nope can't see it myself - NOT EVER 🤡 | the patriotic irishman |
