No admission of true problems that are STILL being swept under the carpet. Ferrier should allow people to ask the questions. But. It's clear that retail investors mean absolutely nothing to Ferrier, and fyi he's making a hash of it too to the ex-bond holders. Capital... No surprises there. As predicted. | j0sekl

21/4/2020 15:49 | Another round of hype spin and lipstick on the way and scheduled to arrive Thursday. Crank up the spin machine. Fill the trough. Mention how they're working to provide shareholder value for all their stakeholders. And most importantly offer up thanks to the hosts for all their unstinting support? | bigdog5
21/4/2020 15:37 | Well, The Kingdom cannot be allowed to go down the cludgie - it's needed to counter Iranian expansionism / support for terrorism - and to purchase armaments from the West. SA actually has been a force for stability in oil markets - their latest cut amounted to almost 20% of their output and the whole thing will stand or fall on just how other suppliers manage to trim their own outputs. History has not shown much to be positive about in this particular respect. IMO we need to see world crude output reduced by between 25% and 30%. Even then, it will almost certainly be Q3-Q4 before we start to notice any positive effects from that. In the meantime the stock inventory, couple with the output lag effect, will hamstring any benefit; the clogged-up supply system will take some time to clear. The final uncertainty regarding just how fast any "demand recovery" might be tops even these considerations IMO. The "US Oil Industry Support Measures" will turn out to be throwing petrol on the fire - they should just let those marginal producers (US and worldwide) go to the wall and be done with it. | broadford bay
21/4/2020 15:20 | Agreed Broadford that's one way. However, the money they're losing big time was required to diversify into other Industries so they aren't totally reliant on their oil for wealth. So just like this company, huge delays with plans. Looking forward to the next round of mega hype, spin and unachievable plans on Thursday are we? | bigdog5
