Interesting situation about to unfold. Several Saudi contracted tankers on the way to the Saudi owned Refinery in Port Arthur intent on flooding the market. But as I mentioned recently a Saudi oil minister had stated it wasn't their intension to wreck the Yanks shale market. Will they be permitted to dock? Saudi actions don't appear to support the minister. Strange way to treat their western ally?

How long before there is an escalation in Saudi issues at home bearing in mind they need oil at $80 to balance their budget. Russia need around $50. Russian population happy with events? China having given the world the virus can expect a massive trade backlash. If the export revenue goes off a cliff will their home market be enough? Expensive games they play? We live in intriguing times innit.
