03/9/2019 14:34 | I see that you can't get your head around the concept of a depletion strategy Oilman. It doesn't matter though. We employ a team of experts whose job is to develop and manage the reservoir. By this time next year they'll have us producing 55kbpd and on our way to 110kbpd. They have no interest in what you think. Leave it to them. | habshan

03/9/2019 14:12 | Oil and gas field depletion. "An oil and gas field is an aggregate of wells and these wells are normally deployed by the operating company along a field development plan which cover years if not decades. It means that new wells will enter production while the first ones are maturing and then declining. From the field perspective the operator will schedule the new wells to compensate the old ones so that the field production will reach a plateau as fast as possible and sustain this plateau as long as possible. The level of this plateau is defined on the upstream side by the size and capacity of the field and on the downstream side by the potential oil and gas treatment capacities required for that field. Then when all the possible wells will have been drilled the overall production of the field will start to drop from the plateau and decline. For an oil field the decline of the whole field is usually slower than a single well as it is unlikely that all aging wells should decline at the same time. EOR technologies can also contribute to slow down the depletion process." | habshan
03/9/2019 14:10 | The Kurdistan Region constitutes three negotiating delegations to resolve outstanding problems with Baghdad 02/09/2019 Kelkamsh Press / Baghdad MP of the Kurdistan Democratic Bloc, Ahmed al-Saffar, on Monday, the Kurdistan region formed three negotiating delegations - political, economic, financial - to resolve the outstanding problems between the Center and the region, pointing out that the region is waiting for the formation of negotiating delegations from the central government. Al-Saffar told Kelkamsh Press that there is a serious move to solve the outstanding economic, financial and political problems between Baghdad and Erbil, pointing out that the regional government formed delegations specialized in border ports and taxes, as well as in the field of oil and in the political field concerned with Article 140. He pointed out that "the Kurdistan region is waiting for the formation of the corresponding delegation from the government and we expect during the next month will be sessions, meetings and dialogues on resolving the outstanding problems dating back to 2004 and not only that related to the 2020 budget because it is an annual," adding that "the Committee went to find final solutions to the differences in the budget And solve problems that are renewed every year. ” He stressed, "There is a serious intention on both sides to resolve the outstanding problems and there are no problems can not be solved." | 0ili0

Everybody except you took the answer on board when you asked the same question a month ago. The answer hasn't changed so try to pay attention this time. Here it is again, from the Capital Markets Day:- Question - Do the new infill wells target areas with more or less fracturing? Stuart Catterall - "No. Productivity is not an issue for us, as even in areas away from the faults we have high productivity. So the wells are located so they're in the right location aerially for the overall depletion strategy of the field rather than targeting high productivity areas or areas of high faulting." | habshan

03/9/2019 13:12 | I agree with thisGKP 2nd phase buyback timing? They have elected to tell the market only that the next phase has begun AFTER its been initiated.Imo they are telling market participants that if anybody tries to majorly %+=& with the SP/book they have 10m dollars of intervention ready at any time.Their brokers yesterday immediately went to the top of bid and ask, again today. Clearly a sale is soon TBA, and the way to profit, is to drive stock out in mkt, by dropping it sharply. Protective tactic from Gulf imo. | chinese_takeaway
