19/8/2019 15:55 | Shediak - 21 Aug 2017 - 20:56:12 - 545605 of 546664 THE NEW GKP / Drilling for Super Giants (moderated) - GKP Is this a plan for Kurdish heavy crudes? In addition to the deals that Rosneft did with the KRG in St.Petersburg recently to develop the Kurdish Oil & Gas infrastructure they have just bought 49% of Indian Essar Oil along with oil trader Trafigura who has also bought 49%. The deal includes the Vadinar refinery which is in Gujarat. The Vadinar Refinery is now India's second largest single-location refinery, with an annual capacity of 20 million tonnes (405,000 barrels per day) and a complexity of 11.8, which also makes it among the world's most complex refineries. From Bloomberg:- "Essar will sell its refinery at Vadinar on India's west coast and its fuel-retailing business along with a port terminal and power plant that helps feed the refinery. The deal for the 400,000-barrel-a-day refinery will give Russia's biggest oil producer an outlet in South Asia for its production as oil-rich countries vie for market share." The size and complexity of this refinery gives it the capability to process a much heavier crude diet. The share of ultra heavy crude, which currently constitute 20% of the crude basket, will go up to 60%; and as a result the overall share of heavy and ultra heavy crude will go up to 80% of the refinery's total crude basket. | habshan
19/8/2019 15:51 | Muttley knows that, Steephill Cove. It's just one of his moronic soundbites that he posts regularly to try to deter potential investors. Too late now. The chart is looking very perky and we'll soon see a wad of hot money pushing it further, which might annoy Muttley's employers who are looking to buy as low as they can. | pensioner2
