Nestoframpers Read the RNS25 Mill DOLLARS Maximum Amount , 15 first then maybe 10 more. Its trivial. And its pre Sale share price stabilisation imo to prevent the host of CORPORATES that want to insert their head deeper in the trough from crashing the price pre Sale.  The Company has agreed the Buyback Programme for the Initial Amount will commence immediately and run to no later than 31 October 2019.  Once the Initial Amount is completed (or timeframe for the Initial Amount expired) the Company expects to provide further instruction to the Brokers for the purchase of the balance of the Buyback Programme.

I thought GKP said a initial buy back of up to £25 mill. As time goes on why stop at £25 mill .

The odds are they'll keep it within that band, Urals, unless some bigger City names start piling in and there were a few big buys yesterday which weren't PH. But they don't like paying over the odds so will probably squeeze it down a bit before buying which will help the PH/Can strategy.

I dont believe hcl matters to the ownership names of the company They are only buying up to $25m of stock maxm. Chicken feed. And retail down to 3-4% now. Big instis buying not sellingA real impact of a buyback requires a pre agreed deal with Lansdowne and Sothic and/or the mystery 30 odd %unknown ownership

Oh how marvellous new slides from nestofBS. New orders gone out from Penge HQ, ramp up the BS nestof and drag out some old stuff that very few understand but it looks good.

However here's some plain English that some of you clowns may just understand but will dismiss because it doesn't suit. Yes they used the words "mechanical failures" re S7 because its says nothing, its ambiguous, covers all manner of "issues" that they don't want to explain. But they know you clueless clowns will suck it up:-) The Permian has enormous pressure and eats drills. It's one of the reasons why S7 failed miserably in its attempt at the Permian. Rumours in the City at that time say they almost lost the well and it cost the fat end of $100m.

Desperation setting in again dragging up the "Chinese" help? The thing is it isn't good and that's been evidenced by all the set backs and delays over the past few years.

Old Chinese proverb, talk to people who know and not those from post office.

You are welcome.

Why does it have to be near by ? GKP have plenty of time to keep buying mug punters shares , they keep selling then the TO can keep waiting . I think HCL is a deal maker , and that is nearly done.

I do think the Co is sold and the sale conclusion nearby. It beggars belief that any buyer would buy, without conducting their own very comprehensive DD

Who knows Urals, possible. But the Permian has been poked already several times. On SH7 they just told us mechanical failures , abandoned well . Most unusual these days.

If........ GKP signed a binding exclusive conditional contract... in 2017....with the Chinese... one wonders if on top of EWT, reservoir data modelling, tech DD, they...poked the Permian? They had all 2018 to do so. You would kind of want to, if you were buying Gulf

The Greater Shaikan.

"Larger SHAIKAN bigger than Kirkouk."

"You can see that what the Chinese call block SH in dark blue is much bigger than Shaikan (in green). It includes Sheik Adi, part of Ber Bahr, Ain Sifni, Atrush and the western part of Akri-Bejiil."
