21/7/2019 13:32 | 🗣📣 TEAM PENGE ALERT 🗣📣 🗣📣 TEAM PENGE ALERT 🗣📣 Can all Team Penge and their multiple avatars report to the blog for damage control !!! Cashti is keeping control of the oil so we need to spin it so the ship doesn't sink. | mcfly02
21/7/2019 13:25 | Well there we have it . Ashti now has an ADVISORY role as ASSISTANT to the PM and his job is to IMPLEMENT decisions rather than formulate them . He also has to make the tea and choose the biscuits Well done to the OilyInfant for predicting ....er......the exact opposite ! LOL | roverite12
21/7/2019 13:13 | It looks to me, NOR, as though Hawrami has had his wings clipped and he is under supervision until the new PM feels he knows where all the bodies are. | pensioner2

21/7/2019 11:07 | Co can hardly make it it much clearer:"Will only hold shares in Treasury if they are required to satisfy VESTING share options"All shares bought so far have gone straight into Treasury! Without a sale happening, no share options can VEST!I was very interested in the final part of the Special resolution, which empowers the Co to buy or acquire any or all stock on any basis they like. The current IN MARKET ket buyback is TRIVIAL scale use of huge hroom, (so almost certainly I'd agree that its stabilisation of price, as the market obviously knows a sale coming and would try to crash the price as it nears.) Far more substantial buyback using the powers of the latter resolution OFF MARKET would be transformative, so hopefully they have. | urals
21/7/2019 10:55 | As me and Broadford said yesterday Cashti to get more power not less. Some people have their finger on the pulse and some are just blog idiots. | mcfly02

21/7/2019 10:04 | The reason the ex Div was so unusual was that, it would normally have gone ex Div the entire amount, and the payment splitting was fine, but holders at record did not have to further hold, for Another record date, in the future but not accurately specified at the time! That was why it was so unusual it bamboozled IG too! And they aren't famous for giving cash away, and deal with thousands of Div decs every year.https://twitter | urals
21/7/2019 09:21 | Paul is a classic example why many PIs should not be let loose on the stock market. | stockport loser
21/7/2019 08:12 | Any sale would be by tender or scheme of arrangement. Almost certainly the latter as it gives buyer certainty that he will be successful (provided he carries 75%of the shareholders vote), so let's hope this is the case. The double record date for dividend was uniquely odd, imo, but it did hugely encourage holders to stay holding, or miss out on 2/3, perhaps that was the whole idea, encouraging retail to hold whilst 28 days or so elapsed pre Sale going public?https://twitt | urals

20/7/2019 18:26 | Agree with that BB, wasting funds on a pathetic buyback is desperate and pointless. | bigdog5
20/7/2019 16:21 | Yes precisely Chinese. The company have told ( indirectly) their shareholders that a sale is nearby.Fair enough they do have a duty of care not to prejudice minority outside holders. This analysis makes a great deal of sense in which case looks like a takeover will be announced within 2-3weeksI only hope they have concentrated equity by some cash buyback off market - that would boot profits far higher, after all the huge cash hroom needs utilising. News next 2-3weeks if so https://twitter.com/ | urals
20/7/2019 16:08 | The really prescient point Urals is that they are only bothering to buy shares into Treasury to satisfy VESTING share options.Obviously no options can vest for years without a change of control. So a sale is now a certainty within a few weeks.https://twitte | chinese_takeaway
