(me, I wouldn't put any money in, since I'm not a fan of loss making companies where the NTAV doesn't give some downside protection & where the sh. price has divided by 6
...I prefer to put money in to shares that are rising and/or with supportive TNAV/share.

You can not rule out Sky taking up the full issue of new shares. Skys longer term view would involve Sky Bet, which is a huge way to monetise from the ever growing global audience. That is no doubt part of the logic to create the partnership with Guild in the first place. Hard to see why Guild would struggle to get a placing off considering the established partnerships and DB, in this sector that has vast opportunities globally.I think the IPO price was overly egged, hindsight I know, but it was being valued on an unknown sector with huge potential, the reality is that it is going to take a while for the sector to get organised and form a template structure, and where you have governing bodies overseeing it, like many other sports. That is likely what is needed, the audience is there in large numbers. A concept us older people probably still find a little baffling. I have seen kids watching You Tube of a big You Tuber opening FIFA packs! It is a different world to what we had, and it will continue to change.

Pro tip: ignore the guff at the start and go straight to the going concern statement: The Directors have concluded that the adoption of the going concern assumption is appropriate based on the Company's ability to secure additional fundraising. The process of securing funding is currently underway and the Directors are confident in the ability of the Company to source this funding. However this does constitute a material uncertainty that may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern. The Company's auditors have not modified their opinion in respect to this material uncertainty.

The independent report stated it was in progress, the follow up rns was admittedly vague but stated they had made enquiries about a raise. I don't think they would do that had they no intention but who knows.

Yep, the problem is they have let the market know they need cash, its going to be incredibly difficult to raise at a price anywhere near todays price and the market knows it, we need a sponsorship now but that will not happen until the finances are sorted unless a sponsor with a death wish comes along.
