Shocking investment this has been. Probably my worst in 15years. Come on Becks, pump some cash in to help!

Hyperx removed from the website I notice, so they didn't renew as expected. This is what happens when you tell the market you might raise monies, a total amateur mistake.

They will do well to raise at 0.75, this has become a disaster

They need to cut costs, to break even would give confidence, a small profit helps to build the business Case.

There is no way they can survive while making sizeable losses, there isn’t the finance or market support to back it.

Yes, it has been lax and they need to improve, which they hopefully will. It is the detail to how you present yourself or company, that builds confidence, and confidence in the sector, let alone the business, is uncertain. That link I posted about resolving the use of players with game cheats is a big one. That is a sector issue, so Guild will be looking to keep going and build while all these things get addressed.GL

Your correct but we have every right to be disappointed with the BOD, every penny counts with start ups, then have done so well bringing in the likes of sky and Coca cola and then they don't bother to proof read their own earnings, it may seem like a small error but it's had a detrimental effect on the share price and unless they address it quickly will continue to do so and the lower the share price goes the less they can raise and therefore they will have less to promote growth, I own my own business, I'd sack an employee who made that mistake. Its inexcusable.

GFIN down 30% today. same sector.
negative news, CEO departed immediately & desperately need to do a cash raise.

GILD is also loss making needs to raise cash to keep the lights on.

the news from either co. does not help the other

Gild
share price divided by 6 since June '21.
Does not help get support for a cash raise.

This stock is all about the bigger picture and the potential of the sector. We have to trust Guild to make the best business decisions they can with the opportunities that come their way. It was always a long term investment. Looking at the share price each day will only play on the phycological aspect of holding a stock that is going through the motions of growth. If you was always going to hold long term, then the current fluctuations should always be viewed as just that. Guild are at a pivotal year now and those partnerships should not be ignored. The company has clearly made mistakes but also made great decisions, it is clearly not a fast moving industry at the moment, so you have to feel comfortable that your decision still holds firm and all news disclosed is pointing in the right direction. GL with whatever your choices are.

The problem is not raising funds, that's what start ups do, switched on companies will usually raise funds on the back of share price strength, not guild, "hey let's wait until the seller is out, then release earnings letting slip we have made enquiries about a fund raise"

Personally I think a bit of GFIN is rubbing off here.

When they first issued their results I was thinking what's that stock that did similar and plummeted, took a while to remember but it was GFIN. They were 1p and looks like they are raising £1.5 mil at 0.1-0.2p levels.

But I think GILD is a better more popular stock so might be able to fund at a much stronger price but any whiff of funding and prices get battered. I have a few stocks doing exactly the same for fears of a placing.

The ramping / trade by trade analysis seems to be having the opposite impact on the share price 7’s reading of the trades and the mms moves is absolutely terrible. Another 8% lost today.

Also, this is likely to be a part of the current market concerns around esports and its future, and rightly so. Get this sorted and the betting industry will see a huge opportunity. .https://esports-news.co.uk/2023/02/08/first-esic-anti-cheat-partner/

Having had the recent Sunderland esports courses unveiled, Dundee is rolling out some. .https://dundeeandangus.ac.uk/courses/fdesci23-g-1fa/.Momentum will carry on and the industry will keep growing in many ways, and as reported across some journalist media channels, once the monetising of the global audience becomes clearer, then it is literally game on. Whilst the market awaits these changes to happen, and it will not overnight, I expect myself to look back in 2-3 years wondering why I did not buy more. imo obviously.
