...'fund raise in progress'

I have not read it

but

I assume that it is just to get the accounts published (& hence avoid stk mit suspension for breaking the time limit for publication "or" for doubts about its ability to keep operating)

the % solidity/fact in such fund raise, I have no idea. If they get one away, with the weak share price & poor news, one assumes that any raise wld be at a notable discount to average mkt price over say the last 3 weeks.

....losing money & doing cash raises....my negative posts are there on the TRAC msg board, 25p to 5.5p now.

Losing money & doing endless cash raises to keep going is not a solid business plan for most companies ! (for some cos. it might work, eg. developing drugs or cancer treatments)

...unusual imo to have 'a fund raise in progress'

normally they are announced as "done"
(& sadly often leaving out normal shareholders !)

I am not interested to read the full accounts & the auditor's note...or about 'fund raise in progress', since I have no interest in the shares.

Price trend is down, I prefer stuff with an up trend !

& a life saving fund raise doesn't help make the shares attractive !

Jsis - can you let us know what you understand a warrant to be……

...share price ended the day on a low for the day
....& that looks like a recent support level.

this week, high chance of going down lower thru that support.
The negative publicity/writings from TW doesn't help of course.

Whats your views on the fund raise in progress statement, that does not make any sense to me.

Smithie, if you really think posting on a BB makes you any kind of authority or knowledgable, then touché. Adding another snippet from the full report is not having a screw loose you wetty

Smithie, share price will do what the share price does without my input. That’s why I’m here lad. No ramp intended or required

They want your shares. Last warrants were granted at 2.7p, most around 6p with an average of 5.8p. There’s no way I’d let any go at this price, now is the time to be buying. At a glance I took the report as break even moving forward with all the junk already priced in. Next sponsor puts us positive territory and the share price will have to start reacting. Will look to break down the full report sometime soon for a truer reflection of the accuracy of this

It's a standard disclaimer and caution that any IAR would include, however n reflection I've never seen the wording "in progress" stated after the fund raise wording, this is counter productive to the workings of the raise as it commonly causes concern or a sell off. Its almost as though they want to initiate selling. When have you ever seen those words before a placing is announced. Also is strange is the limits, if a placing is in progress then why can I sell 3.5m shares online, I couldn't do that at anytime since I've held guild shares.

Ongoing concern is a normality, especially with start ups. If this kind of technicality worries you then you should try the likes of Apple, although their ability to continue and grow as a company heavily relies on them selling products like phones and tablets, so yes with the presence of Android, Google and the likes in the market, I’d suggest extra and caution there too. Perhaps a bank account is the better option.

JSis - when a company's ability to continue as a going concern is "dependent" on the success or failure of an equity fundraise, I don't think much else matters until that is resolved. Go well, and I hope the level of dilution will be acceptable to you if GILD gets the fundraise away, and likewise the consequences if it doesn't.

Henchard. Whilst it’s very easy to look for the most negative thing you can find and highlight that, it makes no sense to overlook all other data in the same process. Like the fact they issued warrants at 2.7p to cover a long term cost, cancelled 1m penny warrants and that average warrant value is 5.8p, which is 480% higher than the current share price. Whatever fits the narrative I guess

boysie72 - I'm not "claiming to be a saviour." But fair enough, "mega dilution" is one thing I've posted that could be said to be subjective. I appreciate different investors will have different ideas about how much dilution falls into that category.

Out of the blue he appears claiming to be a saviour to others, when by his 2nd post he is sensationalising in order to disrupt other holders. I would not give it the time of day now.

Your post!Very high risk though. Going concern "dependent" on equity fundraise, so looks very much like mega-dilution for existing shareholders if it can get the fundraise away and insolvency ahoy if it can't..You see, now you have just made yourself look like a trolling bell end with your wording, so have immediately lost any kind of attention. The only going concern here is your sudden appearance and assigned yourself as the self-appointed saviour of other posters! Mega dilution hahaha. Troll.
