15/3/2024 09:40 | Re Oliver’s most recent tweet, regarding strengthening Au, Ag, Cu etc. On his Ag figures for Pilot Mountain, I calculate that it is worth circa $15 per tonne mined. Hopefully the garnet present, is found to be commercially viable. With rising prices of the contained minerals at P.M it should make the mining of the tungsten more appealing. | smart48
12/3/2024 16:27 | Euclid5. The $1.5 billion is based on limited exploration to date. It's a huge potential resource and when they get the drill but turning it's more than likely that the reserve estimates will be raised. Even at $1.5 billion that's an amazingly profitable mine particularly when you extract the revs from the garnet from the prod costs. | fluffchucker1
11/3/2024 16:02 | Very strange market reaction to a placing at a premium to Friday’s closing price. | 888icb
11/3/2024 15:58 | The only downside is seeing Purebond over on KAV | purchaseatthetop
11/3/2024 09:38 | Compare this raise to GWMO, puts it into perspective as to how well Oliver has done. | the count of monte_cristo
11/3/2024 09:21 | Not dependent on the US gov funding to move PM along, grow the resource through the drill bit whilst further highlighting the excellent potential of PM to the US. Additionally, hopefully drill Garfield and get going there. I like it. | the count of monte_cristo

01/3/2024 20:32 | How did you calculate that figure please ? - would be interested to know I think the tungsten is worth around $1.5 bill and couple be multiples of that. | euclid5

29/2/2024 22:43 | Monte_cristo. Correct. Tiny free float. Probs around 10% and I don't see the insurers selling for a few years. I think the tungsten is worth around $1.5 bill and couple be multiples of that. Also thet can sell all the garnet they mine. Best news is that I see plenty of news flow over the next 12 months including Garfield. Probably the best risk/reward in the junior mining sector (apart from POW!!). Not often can I find a mining stock that I can average down with on any weakness without worrying | fluffchucker1
28/2/2024 14:50 | Mr.oz, right. I'd say there is a good 100% upside here, that US gov funding needs to come soon because they need to secure their internal tungsten supplies by 2026 as this is when the gov regulations kickin about foreign tungsten. My exit price, and everyone should always plan when to sell as when to buy, for most of my holding here is much higher than todays price. | the count of monte_cristo
27/2/2024 17:49 | POW own 62% of GMET plus you get all their other assets for a pittance. | walter walcarpets
27/2/2024 17:03 | Works both ways... But on my watch list and feeling a little late here | mr.oz
26/2/2024 13:29 | Up 6.45% from 17 trades and volume of just 86000. The free float is small so it does not take much volume to move it. | 888icb
26/2/2024 12:36 | Yep the chart is a thing of beauty share of the year this will be. | rolo7
26/2/2024 12:30 | Moving up. So little stock around that any buying pressure moves this. | the count of monte_cristo
26/2/2024 00:56 | Wouldn't we be too small for this though? Invest in mining assets greater than a value of a billion dollars. "Elliott Management to invest >1bn in mining". | the count of monte_cristo
23/2/2024 18:23 | From share price Angel morning note today: "Elliott Management to invest >1bn in mining • Elliott, the giant US activist fund that enjoys making governments pay up on their debt, has announced it plans to invest >$1bn in mining assets (FT) • The group, which is perhaps best known for holding Argentina’s feet to the fire, is looking for under-financed mines to invest in. • The strategy reminds us of the development of Xstrata which hoovered up undercapitalised and under-valued mid-tier assets with the backing of Glencore. • The new venture called Hyperion, will be led by Sandeep Biswas who was formerly CEO of Newcrest Mining. • Hyperion can buy into most of the sector including EV metals, base metals and precious metals. • The investment strategy ranges from taking stakes in existing companies to acquiring single mines and full corporate takeovers. • The group might also co-invest on larger transactions. • We see this move and other new interest as marking the bottom of the current downturn in the mining sector." | someuwin |
