15/3/2019 08:31 | GlaxoSmithKline just won a design Patent for a High End Fitness Band-Like Medical Device. With Companies like Apple slowly turning Apple Watch into a medical device, GSK has decided that they should dabble in the devices market as well. GSK announced a partnership with NEUROMetrix last January to make a patient device that would involve Quell pain relief technology. Quell is drug-free and has been cleared by the FDA for treatment of chronic pain without a prescription. Whether this latest device design is a next-gen Quell related consumer / patient device or for yet another medical condition is unknown at this time. | tradermichael

13/3/2019 20:43 | Big falls tomorrow in dollar earners. That vote is not good for us. We do not want prosperity in Britain. We want weak currency and poor economic outlook. This is not good. There could even be an A50 revoke. Bad bad news for GSK | zicopele

13/3/2019 17:53 | EU economic problems are about to get much worse so I hope we escape despite various MPs trying to stop us. And to think they were all elected on manifestos which stated we would leave. Glad I’m invested in a good overseas earner. | chessman2
13/3/2019 15:50 | And what about NI? Its a total fallacy that exports will boom - whats happened since the £ fell sharply on the referendum? Our balance of trade has got worse. No such thing as a quick exit (or clean break etc). Leaving without a deal will take much longer to unravel than a planned withdrawal. Not only would we be WTO with the EU but also with the 60 or so other countries that we have related deals with. | dr biotech
13/3/2019 15:47 | The EU will get their 40bn from us. Can't see them rolling over on this. I don't want them to roll over. In order to get what I want, we need a very hard disorderly Brexit. That would be a beautiful thing. Anyone with skill set will be fine. The unskilled and financial guys will suffer as indeed will services. Bring it on. Loads of opportunities for investors ....especially dollar earners | zicopele
13/3/2019 14:51 | No deal, quick exit. We'll have a vast amount of additional money back that would have been sent to the EU. | tradermichael
13/3/2019 14:50 | I know ..but I don't care about most of these. And I have dual nationality. No queuing in airports or entry visas for me with the plebs. I have effectively been upgraded to VIP. With a little luck property will fall another 30% in London What a once off bonus for any young housebuyer? A hard Brexit would be the gift which keeps giving. No wonder so many voted leave | zicopele
13/3/2019 14:46 | >> Who cares? That money is being used for welfare.>> It's also being used for healthcare, education, police, fixing the roads ... all of which are struggling. | zho
13/3/2019 14:34 | The service sector and financial services will be corroded. This is great news. Banks and high earners will relocate to Europe and house prices in London will fall quite heavily. Great news this as my children want to buy in next five years. Bad news I suppose might be the loss of tax revenue from the City. Who cares? That money is being used for welfare. | zicopele
13/3/2019 13:49 | "zicopele 13 Mar '19 - 13:30 - 19388 of 19388 0 1 1 I want a no deal Brexit. STG will fall heavily and export/dollar earning companies will rise." 10-15% right, or more?? Dollar earning companies, eg fts100 will rise. So yes, pay to be positioned. "Ok...the economy will falter and we will have a very deep protracted recession and fall in investment but house prices will fall which is good for our children" If sterling falls 15-20% why will economy falter or enter recession??? Exports will boom, as will inward investment/asset purchases as prices for such will be significantly lower. If tariffs are cut, as has been indicated, and imports continue apace no reason t expect recession, or much change. "What is not to like?" UK has been through far worse. Short term hiccups but long term much to be positive about. EU will collapse soon under the weight of its many contradictions anyway. Better to be out and not on the hook for the bailout costs imo | wbecki
13/3/2019 13:30 | I want a no deal Brexit. STG will fall heavily and export/dollar earning companies will rise. 13/3/2019 12:34 | Barnier spot on with the above quote. If we cant agree after 2.5 years what the point extending for another 1-2 months, 12 months, or longer. Still be the same problem WE voted LEAVE. We expect LEAVE to be delivered. If it isnt demcoracy will breakdown, and rightly so. | wbecki
13/3/2019 11:00 | I dont recall voting for LEAVE with a deal.. The vote isnt binding either way so semantics not a concern in the big scheme of things MPs that take "No deal" off the table are, however, signalling to the end, they dont want to respect the vote of the British people.. And that wont stand them in good stead I'd wager. | wbecki
13/3/2019 09:07 | I think the wording on tonight's ballot slip is confusing, and will lead to a false result in rejecting a No Deal. They will vote on a motion stating: Current: "this House declines to approve leaving the European Union without a Withdrawal Agreement and a framework on the future relationship on March 29". Clearer wording: "this House approves of leaving the European Union without a Withdrawal Agreement and a framework on the future relationship on March 29". | tradermichael
13/3/2019 00:16 | Indeed , majority of voters wanted 'leave' ... majority of MP's want 'remain' Glaxo boss Emma Walmsley is FTSE's best paid woman boss after taking home £5.9m last year | philanderer
12/3/2019 11:46 | @tradermichael "I do not believe that any other country in the world would allow itself to be dominated and humiliated in this way." It is because we are led by quislings who voted Remain, want us to Remain in EU, and will do everything to subvert demcoracy to achieve such. So i am not surprised at their antics over the last 34 months since they lost. Karma is coming. Events draw swiftly to a close. If we dont LEAVE, we get Paris style civil disorder and worse I expect. Sad that people are willing to jeopardise democracy just to get their way. | wbecki
