I do not believe that the old Glaxo withheld data on this. They were a reputable company focused on science and were not a Wild West outfit. I expect they assessed the risk and notified the relevant heath authorities, who accepted their assessment. To not do so is ridiculous.This drug is 40 years old; if it had caused cancer it would have been picked up.The whole thing is nailed-on BS imo.

What are they saying now that GSK withheld information about Zantac? And then about the storage conditions of the drug... so after 40 years it causes cancers I am not sure I am quite getting all of this but are they now saying GSK is liable...for all of the cancer cases from anyone taking the drug? How long would you of had to take the drug to get cancer? And how much of it?

Yeah this one is a tough one as it gives a glimmer of hope every now and again but then drops back. Still out myself, too early as usual, but with it coming back down I would be tempted back in at 1430.
