The new report from the Academy of Medical Sciences says flu and RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) hospital admissions and deaths could be twice that seen in a "normal" year and could coincide with an increase in COVID-19 infections.

GSK has a seasonal flu vaccine.

GSK also has two Respiratory syncytial virus prophylaxis vaccines (RSV) in Phase III trialsas well as two Covid vaccines.

Its a different play now. Its a break-up or take-over or boardroom revolt.
So I'd say this was a growth (share price) play rather than a dividend play.

Abdulla, I use a shortcut on my phone home screen to this link for favourite bulletin boards:

I have another short cut icon to my portfolio:

I never use the app on my phone as it's inferior to the mobile web version, or at least it was when I last checked.

I get the impression the intergenerational challenges are similar to the UK in at least some of those other nations you mention - but I do not disagree with the sentiment - hence why I have a fairly significant proportion of my portfolio in the healthcare/pharma space. Combined with advances in technology and maybe AI, the next decade or so will be very interesting.

lovewinshatelosses: You might be talking about the UK - the baby boomer generation is also loaded in USA, Australia, Germany, Scandinavia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore. Its everywhere. The pill business is set to go ballistic.
