quoted 168 pence repeatedly in your attempts to
mock people, even though you sold for much less,
having missed the peak that WAS obtainable,
coming and going.

And once again, you have no idea how my SVE trades
played out, because I stopped posting any information
long ago.

It's laughable for you to say boasting is "crass"

I never got 168p because that was the buy price idiot!. However I started buying GGP at 1.6p. and sold at 134p ish so quite happy with my return. You tried trading it at 7p ish and screwex up hence SVE. BTW have you had your AAU shares yet? You are just a troll on a share BB, your advice is worth as much as a used wet wipe. :-))Are you going to ridicule Sage for selling some of his Griffin share? I doubt it because he's forgotten more than you will ever know a kut share dealing..JPPP.GGP, go with what you think not what people try to advise you. Not advising you what to do but before making any decisions on a averaging down look back the RNSs. More about the resource statment, investment and production timings. "THE" made some comment about gold prices and producers. We not in production as yet but well along the lassonde curve. Then you may be able to make your own mind up as to what you want to do.

Trading doesn't keep your money safe. Long term blue chip
investments are safer, but it always depends on what you pick.
I see that Griffin is back at about the price you sold out for
(you never got the 168 you keep quoting). So Ap has caught up
with your clever trading schemes, and retained the two-year
hold for IHT exemption as well.

JPPP, they do when it suits them and the company. The company is making money so shareholders aren't required. It's not just GFM but all companies. Just look at the whinging on SHG. People thought the shareholders were being looked after, were they? .Zoo

Interesting indeed, JPPP. But not wholly convincing. I've always considered accountancy to be something of a black art and although I can follow (I think) Wall Streets DCF model, I remain to be convinced.
As they point out "garbage in garbage out" and I would question some of their assumptions for FCF going forward. In particular, FCF taking a dive from 2024 to 2025 and then recovering in 2026. What is the rationale for this? I would expect FCF to increase in 2025. They have no plans to increase the plant capacity and necessary Capex on Zone II has largely already been spent (we think). Operating costs should be lower (current activities in Zone III are ca 600m below the surface compered to initial operations in Zone II ca 200m). Perhaps their estimate is on the conservative side!

Sage/Zoo. True... Um, but isn't that the point? Directors of Public companies are meant to act in the best interests of the shareholders? Call me old fashioned. Certainly that is always how I acted in such a position. The company's best interests should be the same as the shareholders. OK, if you have a large and dominant shareholder that can skew things, but the principle is the same. I think GFM's directors stick to that. They do, or don't do things at strange times - buy backs; but I don't get the sense we are unaligned and they are rightly proud that they didn't need multiple rights issues, they have managed finances very well.

Sadly I followed Zoo into GGP at much higher prices, I'm not a trader, and am not complaining - DYOR - I am wondering if I should average down...

Sage, I agree on microstrategy, it is a way in. I went through the quite complex process of getting accounts to hold various coins direct. I have had ups and downs... As you say, veery volatile and not for everyone. I haven't been following Microstrategy mainly because Shaylor is so Marmite. But I think you are right, it is a quick and easy way to try to trade a position. FWIW (and I know that isn't a lot!) I think BTC is going higher in this cycle. But this isn't investing, it is going to the race track! My best trade was made by accident, genuinely, and my second best trade went very well and then went bust. Luna. All very quickly. For anyone who isn't closely connected to California, stick to BTC.

Interesting the A, Simply wall St. Who knows, maybe the first of a few articles on GFM. The press are lazy enough to copy each other...

Relatively high volume today and the price is up. It feels like momentum is still with it even after a few rough days in US and China and the heightened stress generally.

I feel that still bodes well.

zoo good morning too cold for a swim ,briefly the old lady in London had another fall on sat night she is now in a care home and will be moved to a ground floor room with doors looking over the garden apparently she is happy about it ,Perseus is down overnight and I see gold is down let’s hope this is not the trend now ,off to the cafe now you have a good day,

Sage, GGP has extra funding from Wyloo which holds 8.45 percent of GGP shares which added to the raised £63.3m by 33.5 m. Once the dewatering is under ongoing control they should be nearing production. NCM had issues and the ex CEO had over exposed the company hence the institutions and shareholders were creating. He went, then there were some rationalisations accross the company in order to appease the shareholders. Newmont have committed to the mine but may sell the processing plant which is strange. I'm sure it will come out in the wash. .Zoo

It might also be worth pointing out to Alan that they receive little to no benefit from the current gold bull whereas producing miners, not only have something to sell, but are seeing significant growth in their margins.

Alan, I like GGp and have a modest holding. I see Newmont have backed out, why? When will they start to produce? Great projects, great development but cash hungry. They need ongoing funding without production.
