Except there does not appear to be an expansion plan
Increasing throughput with an extra ball mill is only a modest expenditure

And they need to expand if they're to extract value from the resource before the licence runs out.

There would seem to be an error in these reported figures.

The column detailing the Q1 results does not tally with those reported earlier in the year.

What seems to have happened is that instead of copying Q1 2023 to this report, someone has copied Q3 2022.

The nett result is that the company are underselling themselves!!

The directors issue themselves shares and then the Company buys more off the market. The overall number does not change very much but ownership is switching. The directors are successfully paying capital gains tax rates on bonuses too. Fooling nobody!Share buyback is the same as dividends. Not here it ain't. Don't be too surprised if the no borrowing policy leads to a no dividend policy because they don't know how to manage debt. They need millions to expand.

Alan has a very unhealthy fixation for Phillis. Very worrying and almost a stalker.

Alan.

The space on these BBs is provided by ADVFN, primarily, for the purpose of allowing investors to share ideas, information etc on a particular stock.

For example, Phillis is not "worrying himself silly on the SHA board". If you were capable of reading and understanding, you would realise that he is interacting with fellow holders of SHG to the benefit of the whole community.

By contrast, these BBs are NOT set up as social media sites. If you wish to discuss the minutiae of your daily existence, do it elsewhere. I'm sure that there are sites out there that would happily cater for your need to discuss the state of your eyes, feet, ears etc. There are many sites that might offer advice on your blood sugar and iron levels.

But Alan, this site is not one of them.

zoo well said I said the same thing earlier on here ,phillis can’t have very much because he’s been worrying himself silly on the SHA board I’m sure everybody on there would be so happy if he’s sold up and disappeared the same goes on here, and the other trolls just don’t know what they want ,the results are excellent but it hasn’t done much to the share price ,off course this is the norm and in a weeks time it will be back down again ,good luck,

All nicely being set up to go private or sold. So, Phillis why don't you phone Roger and do your own dirty work. I'm sure there will be more buy backs soon..As for the posts over the last few days,it clearly shows who or whom the four Trolls are. :-)).Happy days. .Of course there is another option if you don't like what's going on you can sell.

So where has 3 years of two different share buy back programs got us.

Total shares excluding those held in treasury

173,927,894 26/2/21
184,625,443 16/1/24

Hmm so we've still been diluted away whilst the directors exchange their free shares for shareholders money. This would be overvalued at 10p

When Zoo says "no" to dividends, Alan says "no" to dividends.
Then Sage says "yes" to dividends,so Alan says "yes" to dividends.

When Zoo says "yes" to buybacks, Alan says "yes" to buybacks.
Then Sage says............ ........I think you can guess the rest.

A decent set of results. One thing that strikes me straight away is the 508,000 tonnes mined in Q4. An annual rate in excess of 2.0 million tonnes with the licence agreement being for 1.5 million.

Presumably Zone II will come on stream in 2024. Mining 500m closer to the surface raises the probability that quarterly output well in excess of 508,000 per quarter will be achievable but restricted to the 1.5 million annual limit.

The company should be applying for permission to increase production and making plans to increase the above ground processing capacity.

The existing licence would also need to be address in terms of duration.

At the current rate of production the licence will expire long before the known reserves will have been exploited. Given the length of time that these things take in China, the company should be actively seeking an extension to the present arrangement.
