Alan, I've been busy yesterday and today so not bothered a great deal on here other than to respond to Sage. I'm happy with GGP, UU is going well having bought more on the lows as I like the dividend it gives. I'll reserve judgement on Griffin until the update and see how the market reacts. Given everything on the news is bad news, I fear for the youngsters and the world we've produced. .Interesting when Rose stops posting so does "THE" and Phillis the old tart. I think everyone knows they are all one of the same. Haha..Love the heat, we're sitting on the terrace and it's still over 30 degrees. Enjoy the swimming..Zoo

morning zoo I had a good swim this morning it’s a perfect start to the day in this weather, I remember getting the first dividend from GFM things looked very good then ,I’m like you I don’t need or want a dividend but if it kickstarts the share price that’s got to be good, let’s hope the rise starts soon before the fall,GGP is doing nothing now as most of my fun shares ,you have a good day I may pop back lunchtime if it gets too hot,

Alan, on the dividend thing everyone knows my position regarding that, however look back to 2006 or whenever it was, if they're going to pay one it's needs to be larger than last time. The question is, given world volatility with China, Zinc and Gold etc will it entice the Institutions to pile in because the company isn't interested now in the small PI they will want the big boys in. I'm not too sure that will happen. I'd rather buy low and sell higher and take my profit each time. .Zoo

hi zoo and sage just got back I do wish my London friend was as bullish as the pair of yourselves the last time I saw him he was very cold on them ,I think if it pays a dividend it may move and stay up ,I don’t want it but I can see why people do, I’m not interested in buying anything I prefer to spend all day out in the sun ,it’s still packed and noisy, good luck and thanks for the info sage,

Sage, very true about winter. The last little Corporal became a cropper on that one. Yes we / everyone wants peace given the ultimate alternative is too bad to think about honestly I very much doubt in the main the Russian military don't want to be there either. Interesting how many russian generals have been killed though!Trading on the lows or near lows has suited me for many years, just needs more attention to be paid, I use trailing stop losses but have been caught once or twice. Pleased to read getting in on the low worked for you. .EL says hi. :-).Zoo

Interesting thoughts zoo and please give my regards to EL. Another school of thought is that everyone wants peace in Ukraine and no one wants to fight in winter (it is simply too cold). There will be massive pressure for peace. We are 50/50 that the war could go on long term or that a "surprise" deal is done in October/November. Having bought close to the year low they give me something to trade on a spike. GLA
