Also no stop loss is a huge mistake too. If I have to wait a couple of years to break even I don't mind as I don't need the money. Rather not but if this will reverse upwards I will be OK. Just don't want to see it plummet further and suffer huge losses which would be life changing for the worst!

Thanks guys. Still unsure what to do. I think you are right though. I have committed far too much of my capital into this one investment. Don't think I can stomach over 20k loss however. I really can't. :(

Trump has made a huge difference to the US economy.
If you look at the figures instead of making daft
analogies you would see it, but beyond that, working
people are feeling the improvements in their pockets
and lives. But the real convincer is that Obama is
back making speeches trying to claim the credit.

It is a mistake to advise others whether to buy sell or hold . Anyone seeking advice on this front would appear to need something more than a mere bulletin board.

lodgeview,

As others have said , you are only losing on paper. Your mistake would appear to be committing too much of your total worth to one investment. Learn from the experience.

Rose an economy is like an oil tanker with a tiny rudder such that it takes a politician ages to make a difference. So Trump has made very little difference to the US economy. However, a mutton headed politician can easily screw up trade deals. The Chinese economy is currently little changed but perception of its future direction has altered and with it global markets and commodity prices. If you want Trump you are welcome.

Trump is doing his job, making the United
States economy roar. Wish we had someone
like him working for us.

Rose,
Well said I married via dating site and was fantastic, trouble is I'm having to start again as she is dying from cancer and nothing I can do to stop it. So at 67 will start life again.

The Telegraph:

"Investors in stocks listed on London’s “junior” stock exchange are expected to receive record dividends of £1.2bn this year.

"Dividend payments from companies quoted on the Alternative Investment Market will grow by 20pc in 2018 and continue to rise next year, research by Link Asset Services suggests."

Never too late alan g. I married again in
March at age 72. Dating sites are minefields
scattered with roses and pineapples, but they
are worth the struggle.

Sage. Interesting earlier post from scopo as his figures are fairly close to what u and I were talking about on iii about 6 months ago when I also suggested a p/e of 10 was about right for a debt free mining company operating in China. His obviously very detailed and researched calculations make me feel much more comfortable after reading some of the doomsayers on this board over recent weeks lol.

Long term this share will do well. Over the years I have run numerous calculations for forward P/E ratios and resultant sp’s based on various zinc and gold prices. If you are feeling down and despairing of your paper losses try this. Assume zinc at $4000 and gold at $1500. Then assume license and GFM WITH 2 ball mills running at 1.8m tonnes each . If that doesn’t make you smile nothing will. In the meantime we deal with today’s realities! If anyone wants to know the 2 ball mill scenario is my expectation for this share whether we achieve this or the commodity prices last seen in 2007 who knows? Not intended as a ramp just a comforting thought.

I maybe we'll off,but I lost my partner of fifty years ,I now don't have a single living relative,I wouldnt wish this on anybody,I've read the replies to my earlier e mail and although you seemed to have done as much as I have I bet you've got family, which makes you a dam site luckier than my situation,

Just putting this out there
... I'm only 40,change my car once every 10 years, and hold only about £10,000 worth of shares in GFM. If any one feels they have have too much money or shares that they don't really know what to do with then I am here with open arms ;-)..... I continue to hold GFM for the long term and have no problem with the company. For the past couple of weeks we have been going around in circles on this board, maybe it's just time for calm and peacefully await next news from GFM, no matter how long it takes (We all know news is slow from GFM but that's always been the case but we all still invested)
