Great to see lots of new posters on the board. It would be even better all round to see a level of humility from all whilst posting and less ego.

Sage: Although neither a frequent nor erudite contributor on ii, I read - past tense! - your posts (inter alios) regularly. Another name from the inner sanctum over there, and much missed here is millwallfan. Any idea where he might be now?

Hi Alan, thank you for your kind words. The Sp is always somewhat a slave to the zinc price and you have to make your own decisions regarding the short term position. I purchased 45000 shares on the dip and sold them today. My 400,000+ core remains but I always like to pick up some to trade on dips. Long term GFM has a bright future with £5 not being an unreasonable 2 year target but the zinc price will always be the elephant in the room. I am very positive.

Sageman when griffin was £1.60p and after the AGM where there was no news and the share price dropped to £1 25p, now we have had the news we have waited years for it has only risen to £1 46p are you expecting this to rise and rise or is this too much to expect,I have been a shareholder for many years also buying them at 3. 5p and like yourself have been frustrated with them for many years,I find your posts very interesting and trust what you say more than anybody else, thank you,

Hvs , Neville is cd from iii and is very respected. He has held since the late 90’s and is well known to have bought at 3.5p He holds circa 600,000. When the Sp was under 20p it wasn’t that big a deal. He has posted for years.

I do love Trump, as it happens. China has been
taking advantage for a long time. Tariffs won't
put it right, but they will change the perception
that the West are all mugs.

And it won't matter re: zinc prices in the medium
to long term. Steel needs zinc, the world needs steel.
Tariffs are about who sells steel to who, not about
how much is produced.

This share needs no ramping. Professional investors use a range of tools including ratio analysis, CAPM , Gordon's growth model etc. This news should mean that profits more than double in 18 months time (assuming commodity prices were the same). If you add in a sustainable dividend and then do forward calculations based on P/e ratio's and discounted EPS models to forecast the share price the result is a far higher share price This is an AIM stock and poorly covered but those calks will take place albeit some may wait until the results. If it were not for the trade war with China and the resultant fall in both sentiment and zinc (don't you just love Trump!!) the share price would be over £2 today.
