Posted at 10/12/2024 19:42 by merionjones As to China restrictions I thought they said they weren't trying to blackmail the world just inspire it to find more of its own resources and not being so reliant on them. Now in news stories we see all the success stories of countries who became less reliant and even Africa stepping up to start producing almost %50 of the worlds graphite needs very soon. Your understanding of shares and the market is so very drill, Groc was always a long long long shot, when car companies went looking they found an infinite supply of assets with better prospects, infrastructure and size/grade elsewhere. Grade really means nothing, some small caps band it round but all mines produce grades from high to low as well as being able to refine lower into more higher grades. This means a bigger deposit at lower grade than yours still supplies more high grade tonnage than you ever could. Look at some of the high grade products coming out of low grade deposits...... The market is also super saturated, there's no lack of it prices and production actually cut due to not enough demand. What happened was many new mines came on line as well as present ones upgrading capacity. Not once has someone said they can't get hold of a few thousand tons ever in recent years. The EV industry also stalled making all predictions of a shortage very wrong even laughable reading them now in almost the year 2025..... Some boards just want to be blinkered because they mainly consist of people holding a loss. The best Groc can hope for is to be bought for a few million. Ideally that would help the share price although not enough and allow the management to go and repeat the cycle on another asset. Isn't that what the CEO here and at Alba its main holder and IPO issuer have a record of..... I don't believe in many companies but I see profits to be made from their losses and occasional short lived gains. You seem to want to back them personally, I just care about making some money and transparent ethics, you seem to want actual graphite ignorant to all the money you could have made with a simple traders view not personal one. Goes without saying here, a few companies provide no real results but a great PR story and tasty wages bills for years. The initial hype soon wears off on that long slog doesn't it.... as you well know! |
Posted at 05/12/2024 22:33 by haggismchaggis I would concentrate your investment minds on a longer term target price based on the proposed Anode Plant for which GROC has advised us:."Total gross revenue of USD6.5Bn over the 22-year period, with total gross profit totalling USD2.7Bn.".USD2.7bn / 22 years is USD122,727,272 per annum gross profit..If we said the net profit was say half that, USD60m, at a P/E of 10 it would make GROC worth USD600m or GBP470m at today's exchange rate..If GROC can get project funding without dilution, as it is trying to do, that would give us a share price of 470m / 194.88m = GBP2.41, over 100x the current ASK price..People often wish they could get in at the bottom of a stock that goes up exponentially. Well, here's one that has a good chance of doing so over the next year or two. |
Posted at 05/12/2024 12:13 by honfacifi Ummm grade is pretty irrelevant in the graphite market...Alba has high grade so what, a mine with much lower grades but larger size will still produce ten times the high grade Groc could! Isn't it about time you understood the ACTUAL graphite market, then you'll see the reason why much lower grades get investment and Groc gets nothing! Oh dear me best learn before you act like you know! |
Posted at 19/11/2024 21:36 by honfacifi Yer all the companies who got that UK grant were invited it's not about Groc is it despite how the RNS words it.Another pointless conference, these guys get more for themselves than the company, free holiday, free networking themselves to other companies.... Where I suppose Alba found their new assets when they drop Clogau at a similar European conference. How many of these conference companies get real funding.... Barely any.... Groc just a conference company graphite is going nowhere. |
Posted at 17/11/2024 21:38 by one2go I see you are still market abusing Honfacifi, nothing good to say about GROC or ALBA, how are the Indian slums, how much commission have you earned from your Boiler Room operation this month. In the meantime sensible individuals will be buying GROC so you had better tell your masters to close their short positions because when to news comes the shares will rocket. |
Posted at 17/11/2024 17:55 by haggismchaggis That's going to be an immediate big boost for any suppliers of those materials outside of China, but is also a boost for non-producers like GROC because the World needs to invest heavily in any and all resources outside of China in order to take back control of supply chains from China.. The USA EXIM bank funding is a great example of USA trying to get supplies up and running from outside of China. This is no doubt what has attracted GM to invite GROC to present "the participating companies were specifically picked by GM". . "GreenRoc Mining plc (AIM: GROC), a company focused on the development of critical mineral projects in Greenland, is pleased to announce the receipt of a Letter of Interest ("LOI") from the Export-Import Bank of the United States ("US EXIM Bank"). US EXIM Bank is the official export credit agency of the United States, an independent Executive Branch agency with a mission of supporting American jobs by facilitating the export of US goods and services." . "In the LOI, US EXIM Bank indicates its willingness to consider financing GreenRoc for up to US$3.5M of US export contracts relating to goods and services ordered by the Company. Such contracts could relate to the conduct of Pre- or Definitive Feasibility Studies ("PFS" and "DFS" respectively) for GreenRoc's Amitsoq Graphite Mine in South Greenland and/or a DFS of the Graphite Active Anode Processing Plant, which funding would fall within US EXIM Bank's Engineering Multiplier Program. Another contract which could be eligible for US EXIM Bank financing relates to the processing of large graphite bulk samples by US-based contractors." . "About the US Inflation Reduction Act and graphite" . From 2025 no 'anode on foil' (battery anodes produced with graphite) product can come from a 'Foreign entity of concern' which includes China, and from 2026 no graphite in any form can come from a 'Foreign entity of concern'." . "This LOI from US EXIM Bank represents a strong show of support for our Amitsoq project from one of the key financing bodies of the US Government involved in the roll-out of loans and other funding support under the US Inflation Reduction Act to entities, like Greenroc, which are developing projects which will deliver critical raw materials to Western economies." . "With the US Inflation Reduction Act's rules of origin in relation to graphite set to be implemented in the near future, we expect to see increased interest from US industries in securing friendly sources of graphite, and so this LOI from US EXIM Bank is timely." . "The Company will be participating in a trade mission to General Motors Company ("GM") during 18-20 November 2024" |
Posted at 16/11/2024 13:13 by haggismchaggis The naysayers can post as much BS as they like, they can't argue with the economics of the Mine and Anode Plant. GROC is massively undervalued in comparison to it's assets. The mine life is 22+ years, at an NPV of US$837m, so just one years worth of NPV is US$38m or £30m.. GROC Market Cap just £3.02m for all this: . Feasibility Study shows a Pre-Tax Net Present Value at 8% discount rate (NPV8) of US$837M . Based on 22 years of production, the total gross revenue for the anode plant has been calculated at US$6.5Bn over that period, with total gross profit totalling US$2.7Bn . The mine on it's own, without the Anode Plant, is big enough on it's own and as stated the profits are additional to that of the Anode Plant. . "We are extremely pleased with the outcome of the PEA, which confirms robust economic figures for mining activities at Amitsoq. A pre-tax NPV of US$235M with an IRR of 31.1%, initial CAPEX of US$131M (inclusive of a conservative 25% contingency) and average Opex of US$121 per tonne of milled ore equates to a four-year payback on capital from start of production, a healthy return on investment when set against an undiscounted net pre-tax cash flow totalling US$794.7?M over a 22-year life of mine." |
Posted at 15/11/2024 11:20 by honfacifi GM and others sought to develop American graphite, they have and GM is partnered with Neaveu Mondeo plus helping finance the biggest graphite project in Lac Gurete. The fact they hold conferences and it's not hard to get an invite is meaningless no other company reports these things as actual news or interest. Groc been to has been to many of the type of meetings before nothing ever comes of it. If you follow the actual graphite market everyone has enough and has invested in the future without Greenland getting even a sniff ever. But go crazy we've been here before, normally this type of news proceeds a raise then the obligatory share price drop of dillution. Groc is just some thing they fill the numbers with, looking at their RNS's a common feature now. America has lots of graphite as does it's South, not sure what your missing it's mission is not Greenland but at home as evident in all the American graphite investments recently, in fact GM and Panasonic will share a resource there's so much over in Canada. Had you put your money in a few Canadian firms you would already be well in profit. Isn't Groc becoming the great pretender.... |
Posted at 15/11/2024 07:54 by mininglamp GROC and General Motors mentioned in this mornings RNS, something most retail investors can only dream about concerning these minnows, a tie up with GM would be company making for GROC.Also it does look like the Exploitation Licence is on the fast track to approval, clearly the Greenland Government wants the Graphite project, that includes the EU also. The company is only valued at £2.8m. |
Posted at 04/10/2024 06:55 by mininglamp There is a significant valuation anomaly for GROC compared to peer groups, it is very hard to understand how this company can command such a low valuation given the excellent progress made. The recent statement to market suggests their Mining Licence in Greenland may only be months away, that ML is a massive valuation driver for the company and in particular it's shareholders. It is also very rare that a company so project advanced has only 195m shares in issue, many juniors at GROC's stage would be in the 1 billion share league. Could GROC become the next multi bag sector investment, it has all the right credentials. One thing for certain the £3m m/cap will be history soon enough, no wonder there was a broker target equating to 30p a share based on the current share count. Yes it is hard to acquire stock and for a reason !! |
