22/2/2005 09:50 | Take a look at NTA. Share price 2.375p, market cap 500K. They started on a large property development (289 units) in Chelsea back in 1999. The deal was to provide development management services for which they would receive a fee and on completion a SUBSTANTIAL PERFORMANCE RELATED PROFIT SHARE. Things didn't go exactly to plan and with the usual setbacks and delays that these building project encounter the development wasn't completed until the end of 2003 and inevitably the share price has tumbled from well above 40p to todays level of under 2.5p, though it was over 10p as recently as June 2004. The agreement stated that they wouldn't get the profit share until all the units had been sold and by November 2004 they had 5 units left to sell from a total of 289. The revenue from this development is over £250m, I have no idea what NTA's exact share will be but I know it will be substantial and much greater than they would have anticipated back in 1999. They have virtually run out of cash but last week they announced the purchase of a property in Mayfair and that they are actively pursuing similar opportunities, so have they finally got their "SUBSTANTIAL PERFORMANCE RELATED PROFIT SHARE." If so they are now grossly under valued. More info on the NTA bb. Take a look at the facts and make your own mind up but stick it on ya monitor. | kingcnut | |
